I’m not sure why else you would spend upwards of $ 60 for an umbrella – no matter how stylish – when any gainfully employed person can get one as swag from conferences and high quality banks (First Republic has the best).
Judgment aside, the selection of high quality traditional umbrellas is the best you will find outside of London, Edinburgh or Sweden (where it does rain more than London, believe it or not). The styles range from the very feminine pink polka dots to the very masculine plaid with dark wood handle.
Just don’t go lookin’ for anything high tech or space age a la those teeny titanium or super strong reinforced steel. It’s all about style here baby…
