Bonito Shoes

Extremely rude sales person. My father was showing symptoms of heart attack and I asked him if my dad could lie down for sec on the couch. He very rudely, to my surprise, said «no». Then we asked him for directions to a nearby hospital and he ignored the question and made a even worse cold comment — «how do I know».
He needs to leave.

This guy sold my girlfriend a pair of shoes that broke immediately upon leaving the store. Immediately. He saw the strap come off. He kept her money and said she should have inspected them more closely. Take your money anywhere else.

There are those high end shoes you wear every so often but would probably hide in a special spot and won’t even wear in the Streets of NY and then there are the cheap affordable ones that you carelessly wear as a city flaneuse. Obviously if you want the former head on to Blahnik’s or Louboutin’s boutique. For the latter, definitely recommend this place. The quality are on par for the prices, great for seasonal pieces, trend item or some shoes you don’t want to be hyper-​conscious of. Friendly people as well!

Great selection of affordable men and women’s footwear! All flats are $ 20. Heels, boots, sneakers, and dress shoes are $ 40. No brand names here, but the styles are definitely on-​trend. Very friendly and helpful staff. When they were out of my boyfriend’s size for a pair of loafers he liked, they suggested a similar style in the same color that he ended up purchasing.

Great selection of shoes, bag and accessories. They offer really great price. You will be able to find everything you need for work, school and just that one missing piece for your collection.

The guy who works here is incredibly rude and undeserving of your money. The shoes are of poor quality and if you do decide that you want to try something on, he will act as if it is the biggest inconvenience to him to have to help you with this. Don’t go here — these are not good people.

This is one of the reasons why I love New York. Yes, you have every high-​end, über-​upscale fashion house at your feet but you also have places like Bonito Shoes where you can find really interesting and trendy footwear that doesn’t force you to mortgage your condo.
If you are expecting some type of scaled back Kenneth Cole boutique, you will be disappointed. This place is 100% no frills. It’s cramped. It’s chaotic. It’s maybe even a bit creepy and dank. But if you look hard enough you just may find something cute to wear for a girls’ night out or cocktail party. Even a business gig. Something slight different, definitely.
I had only 20 minutes to shop here and found two pairs: one for 19 bucks and the other for 39. Cute shoes that you don’t see at every department store. And so what if they end up shredding to bits by the end of the summer. who cares? No skin off my back (or feet…).
