Boltons

I like going there to browse and there’s a lot of clothes etc but the staff is soooooooo slow. When you go to check out it’s a good 30 minute wait. There’s usually only 1 person on the register.

I am a fan. The prices are reasonable. Much better quality than the Strawberry’s that was here. Definitely good for scarves, bags, jackets, etc. Business attire. They have a great selection of work pants and trendy leggings.

This place is close to my job. So it’s convenient. It replaced strawberries. I still have mixed feelings about it. When strawberries was there the buyer was pretty bad. When it turned to boltons about 7 months ago. It started to show promise. They started to order larger sizes and much more diversity in the type of clothes they had. However, I now see them slacking on the ordering. Maybe because it’s the summer. Or they just don’t get larger sizes as frequent as before. Now mostly I tend to see small and mediums. Please don’t forget the plus size ladies like myself!!! I also find that they lack in getting comfortable and open sweaters. Yes, it’s summer but people in the area work in Air conditioned offices that are sometimes pretty cold. Sweaters always come in handy. Sadly this location even when it’s not summer doesn’t have large or extra large sweaters that are button open or with non closure. Location is good because the r train is across the street and the e is just a few blocks further down. Parking is a nightmare so don’t try it. There are lager locations more in the midtown area. Many pea coats, scarfs, bags, shoes, dresses are also available.

In hopes of a desperate fashion update for my wardrobe the nearest and certainly the most reasonable budget conscious clothing store was, by choice, Bolton’s. With my body size and mass + the clothing style and cut, I was only able to find two measly tops in the colors I desired. There were too much black clothing, but surprisingly no bright Spring colors. I was on a hunt mainly for pants, sweaters, or suits for business attire. Skirts are readily available for the Spring season but I wanted knee length skirts not ankle length. Sales associates are mediocre with their lack thereof assistance as they mostly glared at me with a rude scowl look.

Every season you can keep fashionable in some clothing you can purchase here. They have nice accessories (belts, stockings, wallets, hats, gloves) Especially in the Holiday season you can find good stocking stuffers.
