Bob’s Movers

I had a van scheduled for today, was told that I would receive a phone call from the driver last night to confirm. Never received a phone call and they never showed up. I tried to call the company and no one answered.

They got me scheduled in for a move the day before my move date. Couldn’t have been more appreciative of these guys. The movers (I believe Nate was his name) were awesome to work with. Very reliable, courteous and professional. I would book these guys again and again.

5 stars even though they were about 1.5 hours late due to traffic. The driver Blake was awesome and apologized multiple times for being late and his partner, Brian was very quiet and courteous too! They were respectful with all of our requests including moving stuff to different parts of the house and taking their shoes off when walking into the living area. They were really efficient with the entire move and were constantly communicating with us. And the rate was really reasonable. Bob was fun to talk to on the phone as well and addressed all my questions with very detailed explanation. Will definitely hire them again!

I called Bob when I needed last minute help picking up an 8-​drawer dresser from a craigslist ad. They were able to send me someone the same day when I only gave them two hours notice and I was really impressed. I had called a few other moving companies and there’s was by far the most reasonable price quoted, as well as being the most personable on the phone. On top of that, my mover, Blake, was one of the nicest guys I’ve met in New York. He was incredibly careful with the dresser, and patient with telling me how I could help him get it down the six flights of stairs we had to conquer. Overall I had a great experience with this company and would recommend them to anyone looking for ‘a man with a van’ services for a reasonable price in the city.

It was very delightful to work with Bob. His movers came last minute when my original movers bailed. They were very quick and professional. Will recommend to anyone.
