Big Apple Clean and Laundry

Do not use this dry cleaning service! They only delivered 4 out of 14 pieces at the scheduled time with no acknowledgement that they were short. 9 pieces were delivered over a week late with no heads up after frequent requests for updates. 3 weeks later I am still missing my favorite dress after multiple calls with no return communication, I’ve even emailed with a picture of my dress. They keep saying «let me check with my dry cleaner» and then never call back. The best, they had the nerve to charge me for the dress they haven’t delivered back!!!

Horrible. I used them for items for work and was so embarrassed , pick up was late, items were lost then they said another store did it for them not the one on 57^th where i thought it was going. items came back just as dirty as when they left. and was missing an item, the item was returned next day still dirty. I will always post a good review if they deserve it but I do not recommend this company at all.

Unfortunate that I cannot give less than one star here. What a terrible experience. I’ve used Big Apple Wash a handful of times through
. Aside from them using entirely too many dryer sheets in the packed laundry, they were 80% reliable. UNTIL– They were supposed to deliver my laundry on a Monday evening between 7 – 9. I called after 9 and asked what the status of my delivery was and the dispatcher said he would call the driver and get back to me– no call back. Tuesday morning I called before work and they said that they could deliver from 7 – 9 again. I received a call today asking what the contents of my laundry were because they could not locate my bag. I asked the manager to call me and I still haven’t heard back.

They missed the delivery deadline by over 24 hours, were no help when i called them, couldn’t tell me why they couldn’t make the delivery on time… 100% disorganized. I would never ever use them again.

I had a great first experience, used this service through
and both the pick up and delivery arrived within specified time frames. Two bags of laundry were nicely pressed and I lied with dryer sheets in between stacks and nothing was lost. The delivery men were very helpful and professional, plus with the coupons on
it is so affordable if you don’t have time or ability to do your own laundry. I will definitely use again.

My dry cleaning was supposed to be delivered this past Sunday. It’s Wednesday and I still don’t have my clothes. I have had to call this cleaner every day and my delivery still hasn’t been completed. I have gotten calls the past 3 days asking if its ok to deliver my clothes and then they never show up. Manager was rude and told me that the clothes usually take a week and I’m lucky to even be getting them. I haven’t gotten them yet and they were supposed to be delivered 3 DAYS AGO! I’ve been getting calls all day asking if they can deliver, and then the clothes never show up.

The delivery was over 3 hours late — it was supposed to come between 7 – 9 PM and arrived after midnight. The driver called at 8:45 and said he was 20 minutes away… At 11:00 I finally called him back and he had no recollection that he’d even talked to me and had no explanation for being so late. If you’re going to offer a delivery service, you can’t deliver 3 hours past the window. Especially when that means I have to get a delivery at midnight, it’s ridiculous. I certainly learned my lesson about tipping on the original order. Cash tips upon timely and professional delivery from now on. Never using this place again.

Awful service. Disorganized business. Do not use their service unless you want your clothing picked up at the wrong time, and delivered numerous days late. Here is the story:
Ordered my laundry to be picked up on a Wednesday night and Delivered back to me Thursday night. They never came, and I had to call them to see what happened. Then they said they would come first thing the next morning, and give me a call that morning regardless. They didn’t come, and didn’t call me. Then I had school all day that day, so my girlfriend had to deal with the manager, who made a promise that he would personal pick up and deliver the laundry from my apartment. I got a call later that day with the manager confirming a time frame with me. Then I came home from school, and the laundry was picked up just within the time frame. Now, my laundry was to be delivered on Friday between 7−9pm. I waited until 10pm to call, and they said that the driver just forgot to take my bag with him, and that I wouldn’t be able to get my laundry until the following day. I demanded a full refund at this point because I was promised numerous things, and not one promise from these employees or managers was kept. They said they would do the full refund and how sorry they were, and how they would make sure I would get my laundry the next morning. Saturday rolls around and now the delivery time frame is 9am-​11am, and I waited until 11am. I did not receive my clothing, so I called them again, they said something about traffic and the driver, but I have had enough so I called
. They got in contact with the owner. I was going to be refunded the total amount, and my laundry was going to get to me within the next hour (an hour and a half after the 4^th scheduled delivery time).
