Any place that focus on giving you the best wine for the least amount of money is a good place. They do have a selection of more pricey wines including Duckhorn(I picked up a Migration for $ 40 which is a deal in NYC), but it’s all about the more reasonably priced wines. I know some people have problems with the customer service, but both of my experiences were really positive. I’d recommend visiting this place.

Hic — free tastings — hiccup — every –hic — night! Nice selection of wines. Kind of set up in a «Wines For Dummies» kind of way. Smooth, big, fizzy, juicy, bold on each different wall. Very good staff that is pretty educated on the wines. Will also gift wrap during holidays. Most wines are usually in the $ 10 — 15 $ range. Easy to pickup and go by the 86th street subway. Hiccup — time for another — hic — tasting!

The staff is quite friendly and knowledgeable. Being fairly new to wine, I still look for a bit of assistance when venturing out to try a new bottle. The store was very clean and well organized; making it quite easy to navigate. I was also pleasantly surprised by the prices. They had bottles at all price points starting as low as $ 8.

I’m not a big wine person. But this place is awesome. Easy layout. Very affordable price points. Every bottle I’ve gotten from here was much enjoyed. * And right by the subway station, easy to pick up a bottle on the way home. AND free tastings almost every evening.
