Bari’s Pizza

The people that work here are very Nice, & they’re open late which is great, but the pizza is very dry, almost like cardboard & is completely tasteless. Not to mention the garlic knots are very dried out chunks of dough that kind of lack any kind of taste other than a slight vinegary taste (that tastes like the jarred garlic pieces you’d find at a supermarket) if I could give this place 2 pieces of advice it would be: olive oil is your friend, don’t be afraid to use it lol & try adding more basil, oregano, rosemary, Fresh garlic (or other italian spices) to your knots & pizza please

This restaurant has the best looking pizzas I’ve ever met, especially the chicken ones. The cheese has a nice consistency and at least sticks to the pizza slice itself. The amount of oil is right, which is a rarity among the many pizzerias I’ve been to. My friend got a regular slice, and he claims this pizzeria is better than Papa John’s pizza (we both really like Papa John’s pizza).
Prices are quite fair ($ 3.75 for a chicken and broccoli pizza), and there are a few deals involving the regular slices. Additionally, the near bald guy working here is very helpful and nice. Only flaws are maybe the crust lacks flavor and seating is tight, as in hard to walk to the inner seats.

This place used to be decent. USED to be. I’ll give them credit for the cheap price but their quality has been declining over the past few months. I decided to give them another shot today but now I’ll never eat their food again. The pizza was doused in garlic it was inedible. Such a waste.

My favorite pizza in Brooklyn. Great tasting pizza for a great value. I live 15 blocks away and the pizza was at my door 35 minutes after i placed my online order. The pizza was warm, fresh, and delicious.

If I am going to be stuck on a long line for a bus. I might as well get some pizza. Decent pizza… just decent

Quite possibly the most horrible experience ever. Placed an online order for a Sicilian pie with no cheese. A few minutes later got a call back from the restaurant inquiring, «Do you really want no cheese?», to which my boyfriend replied yes. I am lactose intolerant; a characteristic I should not have to explain. Our pizza arrived about 40 minutes later covered in Romano cheese. We called the restaurant, and received the response that Romano wasn’t a cheese, this was news to me! He then proceeded to hang up on my boyfriend after ranting incoherently. I called back, albeit a little annoyed, where he told me that it didn’t matter, continued to speak over me, and declared that he would not give us another pizza or take back the one we received. After inadvertently ridiculing me, he demanded that I not call the restaurant again and hung up on me. I called back again to try and reason with him, and it was useless. Whether calm or angry, he refused to give us what we asked, and more importantly paid for.

Vodka slices and the bbq chicken slices are both excellent. Plain slice is decent, but really, come on now, plain slices are boring, why bother.

Stopped in on my tour of all the pizzerias in Bay Ridge. Not much on décor but since when are neighborhood pizzerias anyway?
Had the special, two slices and a side for $ 5 to see whether it was worthwhile. While this deal can’t be found elsewhere, it is not by any means great since the cup of fountain soda is marginally larger than a dixie cup you get at your dentist. The piza is really what it’s all about and sadly it dissapoints. Although the crust is crunchy, the rest of the pizza is sadly unfulfilling as far as taste and ingredients.
For a better slice, look elsewhere. However, if you’re in a rush and dont care other than to fill your stomach up after a bus or train ride, I’m sure it qualifies for the indiscriminating tastes…

Its okay for a quick slice as you emerge ravenous from the R train transit stop, just steps away.
