Came here for a friend’s bday and well, I was never a fan of karaōke rooms. It’s so lame to sit and pass the mike around. I’m more of a stage karaōke or singing in the car. There were limited music videos and the replacements were weird. They didn’t have a huge selection of music. The snack option was cheese balls. Price: $ 50/hour and up to $ 50 worth of drinks — we ordered sparkling wine. There’s a darting game outside that is not free. The bathroom could be worse.

First time I came here, I was so confused. I was trying to leave and there exit was closed LOL It feels like Krush in Ktown but the Chinatown version. Good place to grab a drink once everything closes. Cheap drinks, good music. What else do you need?

Decent bar with a variety of drinks and karaōke available in 2 private rooms or at the bar. If you become a regular they do buybacks. They also recently got dart machines inside the bar which is an added plus. Beer pong is also readily available at the bar given the amount of space at the bar.

Very cramped karaōke bar in Chinatown. The pricing for everything is pretty typical, but the crowd here consists of men in their 30’s, 40’s and generally people that aren’t that fun to be around.

We were here with our friends on a Friday night. The place was pretty crowded. This place is a karaōke bar. It looks kind of shady from the outside but this place is a fun place. The staff were friendly & the drinks were pretty cheap.

Trying is OK and I wouldn’t go for it again. For a chicken sandwich over 8 dollars, I expect a little something more than plain chicken.

At $ 50p/hr room it’s definitely more expensive than most other Chinatown based Kareoke places. That, as well as poor service from the young female waitresses who enjoys stroking their own egos by occupying themselves with certain customers(who by the way only care about hitting on them more than spending actual money at this place). The boss guy however seems nice and was patient. They add 20% tip after taxes to the bill so beware. Otherwise the room closest to the bar is huge and provides comfortable seating in addition to touchscreen kareoke. The thin sliding door however has poor sound isolation from the bar area which may over power your room’s music even with the door slide shut. Do bring a plastic bag with you if are not going to drink that much because $ 100 for 2 hours may get you quite a bit of beer that you’ll probably see best fit to take home as they usually don’t have food after 9p. Between this place and Mott Kareoke Lounge(MKL) 43. Mott St or the Next Basement, MKL is much quieter, $ 40p/hr room plus their servers are much more attentive. They have passable hot food and do not forcibly place gratuity on the bill.

I hosted a surprised birthday party at Bar On and everyone had so much fun! This place is so awesome and chill. Anna and her crew were so sweet, attentive and in-sync with making the surprise as smooth as possible. The music selection is pretty good, and sound system is great! This is a gem in Chinatown!

I’ve had way too many drunken nights here with friends. This place is one of the cleanest KTV bars in Chinatown. It may have a very shady store front, but once you walk down the stairs, you’ll be surprised at what you’ll find. This place isn’t hard to find because you’ll see a bunch of people smoking up on the sidewalk. The ambience is very modern, but I can’t but say that it looks very similar to the bar REVOLUTION in The Mirage(Las Vegas). It may be very busy at times, so the service to the rooms could be a little slow, but I think you’ll be too drunk to even realize. There is no full bar, so there is a very minimal selection you can choose from. There is also a decent selection of beers stocked up in the fridge behind the bar. The prices are a little steep for the bottles depending what you’re getting, so it’s probably better that you come with a larger group of friends.

The entrance to this place is underground and pretty hard to find. There aren’t really any signs to indicate that there is a karaōke place here, so walk down the shady stairs that you find at the intersection of Mott and Pell Street until you find a fancy looking door. Other than the shadiness on the outside, this place is an excellent deal and pretty classy looking on the inside. $ 50 for a room that can fit at least 10 people! The selection of the songs is a little outdated, but the food and drinks that come with the room are so cheap that it’s worth it. Like other Chinatown karaōke places, you can order free food/drinks up to the cost of the room per hour. We were able to order food, bubble tea, and drinks at regular prices(vs the jacked up prices that some karaōke places order), meaning that there was quite a lot ordered! Unfortunately, there aren’t that many rooms available, so call ahead of time to reserve a room. Will definitely be back!

the people managing the place are really nice… popped by on a saturday night undermining New Yorkers craze for karaōke to find the place fully booked! we ended up spending half of our night in the open lounge… it was still a nice experience with clean and modernistic furnishing:) strongly recommend this place! yes… not the songbook flipping style~

It’s a Chinese karaōke bar in Chinatown which means… Hennessy and green tea, dice game, and ka’la’ok! Beautiful interior, new touch pad karaōke screens, and OPEN karaōke in the lounge(most Asian places don’t do this). My friends and I even started a little dance party and people didn’t care or judge.

This use to be Galaxy also a Karaōke/lounge. Now it’s called Baron, I guess it’s under whole new management. Nice Interior, very modern look considering a place in chinatown. It still needs minor touch up because I was in a room where the door wasn’t fully nailed down. If I was very heavy and lean on the door I’ll probably break it. The room was 50 per hour and beer was 6 bucks. They have these amazing sofa that can make you pass out in the room. I would sit in the lounge since it was very big and everyone seems to kick it well in the lounge. Music was pretty updated. Bathroom was a bit nasty though, someone vomit all over the bathroom seat. This guy offered to give me the bathroom first, but once I walked in i walked right back out because there is no way I’m going to pee around that mess.
