Not bad, not great. I have been to better pizza joints in New York. This place was convenient since it was in the neighborhood we were staying in. We had the meatpacking pizza. Decent, not great, kind of small. The alcohol selection is decent but expensive. Thumbs up for good service and music selection.

We Loooove this place. Great to bring friends and fam visiting you and want good brick oven pizza . Bottom pie is a Special, NEEDS to be on menu: «The Norma» –grilled artichokes, ricotta cheese, pesto sauce, mezzetta olives, pickled Fresno chilies, olive oil glaze on crust. *request to make ! Top pie– El Puerco Loco: look it up, it’s a regular on the menu

I was pretty shocked at how amazing the food was. Our group of four each ordered a pasta dish(Lamb Ragu x 2 and Gnocchi x 2), and both were phenomenal. The gnocchi were to die for. Service was good. We went early on a Friday evening, it did get packed later on. Seating was first come-first serve, so get there early on the weekend. Drinks were yummy as well. Great Hell’s Kitchen spot for a nice and actually reasonably priced dinner and drink.

Great pizza, nice(albeit limited) selection of beverages. We had a quick family dinner here, ordered two pizzas and a few sides. More than enough for all of us. The service was amazing; professional, fast and unobtrusive. Waiter was helpful with selection, friendly and a pleasure to work with. The pizza all looks amazing — we ended up with an Oscar The Grouch and a Meat Packing. Both were good. We also had some of the chorizo and soppresata prior to the pizza. All the food was great. Overall it was a good evening. About $ 60 for four of us. Good price for good food. Next time I would definitely try some of the other menu selections. Would give more stars but you have to be perfect to get 5.

Great atmosphere and fast service. Went here with a group of 7 and we split 4 appetizers and 4 pizzas. The brusselsprouts are a great sharing size and are delicious. The meatballs are also very good, but there are only 3 meatballs per serving. The cauliflower appetizer was also delicious, but small. The pizzas were and high quality, but the appetizers were the star. Cocktails are okay, nothing special. I would go back again if in the neighborhood.

This place is great. Went here for dinner. Highly recommend the tagliatelle Nero and any pizza choice. Service was great too. Very casual and fun. Doesn’t open until 5 if that’s a concern.

It was as if the cook tasted every dish and said, «this is salty,» and then proceeded to add more salt. We had the Brussels sprouts, bacon meatballs, and the amatriciana. The main ingredient in each dish was salt. Not to say that flavors weren’t good; they were just washed over by the salt. Overall, it’s a cute place with welcoming staff. It definitely has potential.

Six of us* dropped by before a show, originally trying their sister restaurant B Side, which was too busy and directed us here(where they offer the same menu, but were out of a pie or two). Went with 2 pizzas**, 3 sides***, and had a vanilla porter. All were OK, with the lightsaber-esque décor and energetic waitress(who made upselling kinda charming) besting the food. *Gratuity auto-applied **Oscar the Grouch spinach, black kale, garlic, mozzarella fonduta 15; Meat Packing tomato, sopressata, pancetta, taleggio, speck, bacon, sausage, mozzarella, vincotto 19 ***Roasted Cauliflower capers, raisins, pine nuts, lemon 13; Roasted Brussel Sprouts honey, lemon, egg, pancetta, bacon, parmesan, chilies 12; forget the third

Really a solid place(I’ve been 3 – 4 times), that was definitely need in the neighborhood. The staff is always super friendly. I think the pastas are better than the pizzas(not that the pizzas are bad, but with so many specialist pizza Joints). The apps are also quite solid and they have a good selection of beers/wines on tap or by the glass. I don;t think they do delivery, but would definitely order from them some if they did. A great addition to the neighborhood(but not a destination location). i hope they do well.

Second time here and not disappointed. Pizza is light and fresh. Fav. is Killer Bee. They have fun and inventive apps like Zucchini Noodles Salad. Great cocktail list. Local wines on tap. Manager Graydon made sure we got a seat even though place was packed. No stuffy NYC vibe here. Great neighborhood regular spot.

Wasn’t blown away but definitely wasn’t sorely disappointed. We tried going to trattoria tricolori above away but there was a three hour wait — yikes! Upon seeing B squared had the highest reviews in the area, we decided to check it out. It was virtually empty at 6PM on a Saturday, so my husband joked that all the 5 star reviews must have come from family and friends. Nevertheless, we had to get dinner before our show and figured our options were slim at 6:00 so we decided to try this place. Ordered the rigatoni and Marge pizza. Rigatoni was fine, but quite a bit undercooked — and by that I don’t mean al dente. Both the pizza and pasta were pretty salty. We came in really hungry but didn’t finish either the pasta or pizza. Again, it was ok. Not a total disappoint, but unfortunately I can’t leave an ecstatic review. In a Nutshell — Staff was very friendly here but the food was so-so.

This place opened recently, and is a pretty and happenin’ spot! We had the zucchini noodle salad(tasted fresh ‘n healthy) as well as the killer bee pizza(honey in pizza? I liked it!) which was recommended to us. I enjoyed both dishes! I also really liked how they were playing 90s music the entire night-I love my 90s music!

B Squared is a decent place if you are looking for dinner pre-Broadway show. The space is large, the pizza and pasta are tasty enough, and they have alcohol. Not a culinary masterpiece, but it’s probably better than most of the other establishments in the area.

New pizza spot that’s popped up on 9th ave. Stopped by for a drink, salad and a pizza. Prices are lower and the ambiance makes it feel like a good spot to catch up with friends(dimly lit, etc). Has a wide open feel and I suspect that’s a combination of the above is why it’s doing better than a similar food format neighbor, bar Catalina. Tried the muscles from pizza — pancetta and ricotta and brussel sprouts were generous, with a soft sunnyside egg in the middle. Had a kale salad to lead — was also tasty

Great ambiance, excellent staff with good recommendations. Had two pasta dishes, both were excellent. Also tried two wines on the recommendation of staff, both also turned out to be excellent. I’ll definitely be going back…

It really doesn’t get much better than this. Great wine and delicious food served by an attentive, knowledgeable, and fun staff. Bonus: Always a good soundtrack! I’m thrilled by this new addition to the neighborhood, from the same folks who brought us some of my other favorite wine + food haunts. It’s a good thing this place opened at the end of the summer, because while not beach-friendly, everything I’ve tried so far has been amazing.

Excellent meal! My party of six actually went to their sister store a few blocks away, but was directed to this location because it better fits large groups. We were greeted with great atmosphere, impeccable service, and delicious food! I only wish the gnocchi was a bigger portion. It was melt-in-your-mouth and I just wanted more.

I ate dinner here last night with a friend and love every minute of my meal. We shared the Killer Bee pizza with a side of roasted peaches. The pizza was Neapolitan style & was so delicious! The peaches were sweet and so good as well. The wait staff was attentive and very friendly. I would definitely come back whenever I’m in the area. Apparently this restaurant is connected to B Side Pizza which is a few blocks away, so I’d def check them out as well.

I was honestly blown away by my experience here. My boyfriend and I stopped in on a whim. We were immediately welcomed by our waitress Allison. She spoke confidently about every single thing on the menu, and I had an annoying amount of questions. The entire staff was courteous and funny, but Allison stood out as exceptional. Kudos, girl. Our cocktails were phenomenal. We had the HK Mule and the Quite Contrary. The mule was Absolut with home brewed ginger beer and lime. Simple and delicious. The Quite Contrary was Hendrinks gin with cucumber, lemon, lime and mint(I think). It was was one of the best gin cocktails I’ve had. The flavor of the gin was complimented really well, rather than sticking out as it can tend to. Now, the food was KILLER. We started with the Bacon Beef Meatballs, which I had to be sold on because I’m not the biggest fan of bacon as a main ingredient. I was NOT disappointed. The meatballs were a perfect combination of beef, ricotta and bacon, and the tomato sauce on top was unreal. I literally ate the remaining sauce with the serving spoon. Main courses: I got the Marge pizza, which is a classic pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and basil. It was cooked to indescribable perfection. It was slightly charred, which enhanced flavors of the three simple toppings. My boyfriend got the Ricotta Gnocchi with pork sausage and peas. The sausage was like little meatballs. The dish was very well balanced and it was just the right size. This would be a great place to take family or friends who are visiting from out of town and want a memorable, fun experience. I can’t wait to go back and explore the rest of the menu!
