Avoid at all cost. Disgusting quality of work on a very simple repair-glue the front insole. Cost $ 20 to ruin my favorite pair of shoes.

Dropped off my wife’s shoes to get front sole reglued and the leather brushed and treated. Told would take approximately 4 days for this. Came today to pick up the shoes. First they couldn’t find the shoes as their way of organizing shoes is to just stuff in plastic bags and hang anywhere. Took about 15 mins to find the shoes however if you saw the shop you’d realize this was a small miracle in itself. Super cluttered and extremely disorganized. Now to speak in regards to the work that was actually done. The lip of the soles were reattached which was easy enough. The leather looked like it was brushed over once or twice with a brush and left at that. When I brought up the quality of work the lady feigned like her she didn’t speak any English. I’ve been going to this place numerous times for a quick lunch time shine as there is quite a lack of shoe shine places in the area so this should speak to my familiarity with the owners and their business. To stand there and act like you don’t understand me and to just want to collect the money is an absolute insult to me as a repeat customer. This will definitely be the last time I ever visit this shop. Stay away unless all you want is a quick shine. Not worth the hassle or prices for excess work.

Reasonably priced. Very happy with how my winter boots were fixed/cleaned!

I had a pair of boots repaired in May of 2013. It looked fine when it was done. I didn’t pay close attention. It sat in my closet until Nov. When I took it out again I noticed the sides were not really fixed. Took it back to B&B. Obviously I’ve tossed the receipt by then. I was hoping the man would recognize his work and try fixing it for me. Well, he told me I must have been mistaken. That it could not have been him that did the work because it was obviously not fixed right in the 1st place(no glue, no nails etc…). This is the 2nd pair of shoes I had fixed in my life. I picked B&B because it was on the way to my office so I remember very clearly. It may very well be they don’t remember. I don’t expect them to. But when he looked at his own handiwork, he remarked, «it was not done right. No glue, no nails etc…» That bothers me. It wasn’t done right in the 1st place. I paid around $ 30 for the repair.
