Astor Place Hot Dog Vendor

So this is what went down, I was with my twin to NYU and we passed a couple of stores, then she went into Sisley, I was famished, and there I saw a hot dog guy.
Me: Hey bro.
HD: What’s going on?
Me: Let me get a hot dog with mayo and ketchup, please. Oh, a lemon iced tea too.
HD: Sure bet. 2.45 it is.
Me: Here’s 3, keep the change. Btw, is NYU just down the block?
HD: It’s make right on that street and then walk 2 blocks, you’ll hit it.
Me: Thanks, Good looking out.
So I went to check up on the twin, and darn it she’s still not done yet. I’m still huuuungry, so I went back again.
Me: Yo, I need another one with the same stuffs.
HD: You like hot dogs!
Me: Yeah, I like it. I’m hungry too.
HD: Where are you from?
Me: LA.
HD: Which is that? Close to which country?
Me: Eh? In America, bro.
HD: Oh. They don’t have hot dogs in LA?
Me: They have it, but not like ya’ll like this on the streets, which is more convenient or either that I keep missing them.
HD: You sure?
Me: Well they have tacos.
HD: Tacos?
Me: *phone rings* Yo, I got to go, my twin’s ready to go. Thanks and keep it real.
Then she saw my hot dog and wants it too. The nerve she had to ask me to go back there for my third, and I told her to get it herself, just not to mention she’s from LA…

It was a hot hot day and I did not want to go to my three-​hour lecture; I needed a pick-​me-​up. And what better picker-​upper is there than water? So I go to the hot dog man (NOT the one near the left entrance of washington square park… he’s a bastard who bamboozled me of $ 10) in front of k-​mart. This is important. Because I want you to buy from this man. When you take the six train and get off at Astor, walk towards K-​Mart and right in front is a hot dog stand. Anyway. So the water cost $ 1.50. I gave him $ 1.45 and went looking for a nickel in my stupidly huge wallet and couldn’t find one! But he was like, «you don’t have five cents? Okay, no problem. That’s alright.»
Saved me from being late to class too.
