Nice place to go with a friend to talk and hang. Comfortable seating, lots of space and no one rushing you. The tea selection is vast and they are very clear about which have caffeine. I find myself trying a different tea every time I go. There’s a small selection of ice teas that you can sample without asking, but you can ask for a sample of any tea. The food selection is limited but the muffins I’ve had(apple and lemon poppy seed) were quite good. A perfect place to relax/

Was a decent and convenient place to work for a while. I got myself a $ 4 Hibiscus Tea Sangria which was pretty good. The wifi was a decent but not fast connection and the décor was nice. There was quite a few people which makes for a fairly loud working environment. It was all good until a dude comes in next to my seat and starts moving chairs and tables around and starts playing guitar. Not sure if affiliated with the café but I’m assuming not since I had been on a phone call night next to him when he started making this racket. I don’t blame the café at all but it did forced me to leave to find another work spot.

Looking for a study spot? My friend and I came around 1pm on a Wednesday, it can get pretty crowded, each table was occupied towards 3−6pm You need codes for the wifi and the bathroom! It’s on the receipt! You have to ask for the wifi code, like an item to purchase. Wifi has a 3 hour limit. Vegan Chocolate chip cookie!(330 Calories) was scrumptious! Soft and chewy! Good size chocolate chips. Would have probably been great with a tall glass of soymilk lol I really like that you can get half a sandwich here. I got the Half of a Vegetarian Tomato, mozzarella, Basil, Spinach Sandwich. They heat it up for you, the bread was easy to chew. They blast the AC(it could be a good or bad thing) feels like Antarctic after a few hours. It can get pretty loud. If you get easily distracted, it might not be the place. But knowing that everyone is also working on something helps. I wish they could have stay-in tea cups for cold drinks. Less plastic please!

I loved this place. Not only the drinks were refreshing and delicious but the service was amazing. The girl who took our order was really nice and friendly, it was my first time there so I didn’t really know what I wanted and she asked me a couple of questions and gave me her advice which ended up being really good choice. I ordered my drink with normal water and she made it with sparkling one and even before she gave it to me she realize it and did it again and gave me both. Amazing experience, good was also really tasty! The space is big and has great decoration. Definitely will go back.

Starbucks offers discounted refills on their simpler beverages if you buy any drink in store. I was excited to discover that Argo also offers refills for $ 0.95 on their classic tea selections. I splurged today by purchasing a chai latte for an extremely expensive $ 5.50. After I finished that, I went to get a refill of one of the classic teas that was listed as being eligible for a $ 0.95 refill. Apparently unfamiliar with the refill policy being advertised on a display directly above her head, the confused cashier went and got her manager to ask what to do. The manager told me that you can’t get a refill if you purchase a more expensive beverage. I explained patiently that I didn’t want a refill of the chai, just of the(refill eligible, cheaper) ginger peach tea. They told me that I would have had to buy the cheap tea in the first place. I commented that it seemed I was being penalized for having purchased a more expensive drink. All I received was some bullshit blathering about how«you can still enjoy the atmosphere of the store with just the chai.» What?(I’d already finished the chai, obviously, hence my attempt to get a second drink.) If you incentivize me to spend less money than you, that’s exactly what I’m going to do. I like the idea of a starbucks for tea, but their customer service is seriously subpar in comparison to starbucks. You can’t even find anything about their refill policy on the Argo website(possibly because it’s incredibly dumb). At the very least, don’t give me some bullshit about how I don’t need a refill because atmosphere. I didn’t come here for«the atmosphere.» I came here for your tea.

I would come here every day if I lived in the neighborhood. The variety is great. The Earl Grey Vanilla Crème is such a delight. Their snacks are light and inventive. They have a huge skared work table with plentiful outlets. Love it.

It’s an Argo Tea, just like all of the other Argo Teas probably everywhere. But I love it because it’s like a Starbucks for people who don’t like coffee. There are coffee options, of course, because you have to cater to the coffee crowd I guess. I love their tea latte options(«teapuccinos»). The chai latte is one of my favorites. One kind of random, interesting menu offering… shakshuka for breakfast. This Jew was intrigued.

I love it! Lots of seating, clean restroom, fast service(wonderful employees!), very good drinks and food, and free wifi. Today I got an iced chai teapuccino and found a seat. But then I realized I needed a code for access to their wifi. I was initially told to go back to the register to get the wifi code but after seeing the huge line of customers waiting to get their(delicious) drinks, I kind of gave up. I decided to just begin to do work. Just as I was about to begin my work, one of their employees gave me a printed copy of the receipt with the wifi code in it. Now I can listen to my favorite Pandora channel while studying and enjoying my drink!

They have an ok selection of teas to purchase. I got the ginger peach spice. I love ginger and I love peach. This drink is more ginger than anything. The girl helping me was nice thought. They had iced two teas on sample, irish cream cappuccino(i think it was a special of the month) and hibiscus apple cider. Both were much better.

Nice atmosphere and good tea. I had the hibiscus tea squeeze which was sweet/tart and refreshing while I was waiting for a meeting. Atmosphere is very relaxed — plenty of seating and a bunch of folks focused on work, studying or socializing with others. I enjoyed the large windows for people watching and the artwork inside was interesting as well.

I’m not normally a big fan of green tea but I love getting their Matcha Vanilla Latte. Overall, Argo’s lattes are cheaper than Starbucks but they have more variety. The wifi situation is a little confusing through. Sometimes you need a password from the barista, sometimes it’s on your receipt. But really great drinks.

There is a plethora of seating. I went on a weekday afternoon and the place was packed. There were people doing work on their laptops, having meetings, and some people didn’t even have Argo Tea drinks. I like that you can try a few samples of the teas. I tried the iced tea-sangria one. It’s a different idea but just tasted like fruit juice.

I love this concept! This was the first time for me that I visited Argo Tea and I am so enthusiastic about this tea bar. Coffee bars are all over the place, but you dont see tea bars often. Now I know that this exists I really miss this concept in the NL. They had a special tea with coconut…

I am absolutely amazed with this place! I ordered a matcha vanilla latte and a vegan green tea muffin. The latte was perfection — unlike any other green tea lattes I’ve ever had before. It was super light and not as milky as I thought it was going to be. It always almost as if I was drinking a mix of tea and milk. The muffin was full of green tea flavor which I love! I find vegan cupcakes and muffins absolutely delicious. The menu is super extensive with a lot of creative drinks. I literally stood there for 15 minutes because I had no idea what to order. I love how this place is all organic and super healthy because you can’t go wrong with any of the drinks. I also love how this particular location is super spacious — perfect to come to study or to hang out/catch up with a friend. I wonder if they have one in Boston. If yes, I would choose this place over Starbucks any time of the day.

Was supporting a meeting at the Hilton on 26th and walked around the block during a break. Saw 4 or 5 coffee places during the round trip, but then I saw Argo Tea and it looked pleasant inside. Tons of tea options in wonderful combinations. I opted for the Matcha Vanilla Latte with hazelnut instead of vanilla. It was $ 4.30 for a small, which is not super cheap, but it was delicious. While waiting for my tea, I tried some of sample iced teas and both were delicious. Lots of baked goods, lots of tables, nice staff, great teas. I’d definitely come back again.

I really find it next to impossible to think of anything I do not like about Argo Tea. Not only do they have an extensive selection of loose leaf tea for sale by the ounce, but they will also brew it for you on the spot if they don’t already have it behind the counter! They all offer vegan options like the chocolate chunk cookie(my personal favorite), oatmeal cookie, green tea muffin, a couple of the raw bars and some pre-packaged food items! My most recent visit here we had the vegan nata de coco jelly tea(think bubble tea with coconut jelly) and it blew my mind away. Note: This is a drink for those with a sweet tooth, so I was right at home with it. Want something more? There’s always plenty of seating and reliable WiFi. I wish they’d hurry and open one on the upper west…

Great Customer Service. we went on the weekend, to use our $ 5 Free Credit that you get when you sign up online and use their app. Hubby’s code did not work, but the Barista/Manager? used his code and said that the drinks were on him! sometimes we sample the new drinks, sometimes we can sit and hang out, or just pick up and go. The App has illy coffee that you can order before you get there. sometimes the service is better on some days than others, but its the same at starbucks too. my only reliable place is dunking near my office that has the same group of staff for the past five years. don’t expect the staff to be tea connoisseurs like a boutique tea shop. ask for a sample instead.

To the particular female worker who SHOUTSREALLYLOUD when someone’s tea is ready, please stop! The acoustics in your establishment are horrible and each time you scream a customer’s name, it’s very annoying and unpleasant. Besides that, I’m a fan of the Armenian Mint Iced Tea which is refreshing and caffeine-free. The only other item I’ve had are the empanadas, twice, and I would not recommend them. The outer layer is warm and ready to eat, while the inside is steaming and will burn your mouth if you take a bite too soon. If I wanted a microwaved snack, I would bring a Hot-Pocket to work.

Sometimes you need a break from coffee without feeling like you’re drinking a cup of hot grass. I love tea, don’t get me wrong. I have a veritable tea shop in the drawers of my desk at work, but you don’t go to a steakhouse and order salad, nor do you really go to a coffee shop for tea. Tea deserves its own chain that features all the options of its coffee brethren where you aren’t instantly overwhelmed and intimidated by all the loose tea options. At Argo, the drinks come first, the loose tea second, which when you just want a mate latte, is totally more than alright. I stopped in here the other day for a treat on my walk back from a work errand and it was so worth it. I believe I got an iced earl grey latte that was comparably priced in the $ 3 – 4 mark, but wasn’t excessively watered down with ice like most places and was perfectly blended with just the right amount of sweetness to bring forth the bergamot flavor so characteristic of earl grey. The service was friendly and efficient and answered my questions about the shop. Like another caffeine-vehicle chain, I didn’t feel tempted to linger and lounge, as the place was pretty busy and filled with generic looking tables, but as a midday liquid treat, it hits the spot for sure.

So I happened to stumble upon this place as i checked into my hotel on Fashion and 26th. You know how you go to the mall and they have those people that’ll stand outside of their tea shop offering samples of their tea. Most times i walk past either i’m on a mission or no interest. Argo is in a prime location once the construction awning is finished because it is easily missed. Anyways the person was standing outside and was offering samples of their hibiscus tea squeeze, so i was in no rush decided to give it a shot. Let me tell you a sip of that will change your life, I had to go inside and find out more. The shop is spacious with lots of tables to work on your laptop and the noise quality is very low. The staff there was super friendly and knowledgeable about their teas, I had to order a full size of the Hibiscus tea squeeze. Its flavor is super simple; brewed hibiscus tea, sugar, and lemon juice! But those three simple ingredients gave me the best feeling ever!!! They have to-go bottles that are in glass so they care about the environment and at $ 2 and change which is reasonably priced for anything in Manhattan. I bought a bottle, and since i live in Washington DC, one wasn’t going to do justice, so I bout 8 of them and shared it with friends. EVERYONE loves it so i’m making this appeal to Argo Tea Café, please come to the Washington dc area! You have something golden here!!!

Staff was very friendly but more so the Manager of the store.(tall, light beard with glasses:) He was exceptional in being informative about the tea leaves and brewing process. I appreciate people who go out of their way to be attentive and helpful towards customers. In the past, I had received help but not like this Manager. Never seen him before but really want to point him out so that if you ever go and check this place out and have questions — best to talk to him. Sorry that I did not get his name. maybe another Unilocaler can help? Thanks!

I have to write that the concept is great, the interior is beautiful and I’m a big tea drinker so I was keen to try out this place. Unfortunately, the concept, the interior, and the tea may be good but the staff behind the counter is pure disaster. Both times I was there when customers would ask about their selections, they would all look at each other and shrug their shoulder. Both times I was there, they either messed up my order or couldn’t answer my questions. And it took a loooong time to get my orders filled. I would say the staff needs more training for sure. I don’t know how long this place has been open but I don’t see it lasting for long without more staff training.

Delightful selection of tea!!! And if you’re indecisive like me, you’ll be standing there holding up the line for quite a while… I’ve tried their Pom tea which is very bittersweet and tart. Their green teas are very bitter too. They also have bottled Argo teas which you can find in stores like whole foods! I love the glass bottle so much I ended up keeping it and still have it! Their loose leaf(like the tea, not the lined paper) looks great! Would make a great gift to any tea brew master. Quick tip: if you want your hot tea to be made fresh, ask for a custom order – they will willingly make a new brew for you! It’s a 3 minute extra wait but the teas are pre-sweetened meaning they are pre made beforehand and kept hot!

Tea! This Argo Tea location is large with ample seating with tables for all those fancy high-tech laptops, tablets, and electronic gadgets of the 2014 era. I’ve always been a tea drinker as part of my ethnic culture. Unilocalers will NEVER find a coffee maker in my home as it does not exist! Servers at this Argo is courteous and efficient as this visit was unscheduled where I did not have my loyalty card, but was able to search by phone number. They always have my favorite Green Tea in stock and readily brewed within minutes. Honey, brown sugar, white sugar are in stock. In stillness and in solitude I was able to attain inner peace with tea calming my mind. One facility is available for patrons in decent condition but no amenities as toilet paper is available. Orders are called out by name.
