Best Pizza I have ever had! My uncle lives in the area and everytime I visit him (I’m from Toronto) I always have to get a slice of pizza. Last time I was there a slice was only $ 1. It was the cheesiest, tastiest, and thinest pizza I’ve ever had.
Everytime I go to NYC, I always buy 2 boxes of pizza freeze it and smuggle it through the boarder so I can keep it in the freezer to have in the future while I’m in Toronto.
Seriously. Get this pizza. It is goooooood.

Roy’s Top 5 Things to Know:
1. Arcade Pizza is one of best sliced pizza places in Washington Heights. Just the right amount of bread, cheese, and sauce. It’s not ‘doughy’ or filling like some other sliced pizza spots tend to be.
2. They usually have discounted prices for students.
3. No seating but they have ‘shelves’ for you to stand and eat your pizza. This place is small and a bit divey.
4. No restrooms.
5. There’s metered parking outside but located right outside the 191st street 1 train station.

I used to go to this place as a kid. I’ve recently come back to the hood to visit family and it’s still run by the same guy! You can smell the slices as you exit the elevator from the 1 train and try to resist getting one as you head home (thinking you have a nice dinner waiting), but you are Mango and you cannot…(SNL sketch).
The pizza is as consistent as it was when I was younger. I highly recommend getting the Sicilian slice. They now offer dollar slices, which are just thinner slices to satisfy they cash strapped high schoolers nearby.
Good pizza for the neighborhood.
