Dr. San Martin is an excellent psychiatrist. He’s an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University. He specializes in adult psychiatry, psychopharmacology and neuropsychiatry.
During our first session, I could tell he was far more knowledgeable than my past psychiatrists. He definitely knows what he’s talking about. He was able to diagnose my ADHD from the start. In the past, I was misdiagnosed and put on all sort of different medications by past psychiatrists. The medications gave me massive migraines and terrible side effects. One medication even made me gain 30lbs. Now, I feel like I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel and it’s all thanks to Dr. San Martin.
He does not take insurance and he’s a little pricey, but he is absolutely worth every SINGLE penny. If you really care about your mental health and need a good psychiatrist to give you a proper diagnostic, then definitely try Dr. San Martin. I went through at least four different psychiatrist before seeing Dr. San Martin and none of them was able to help as much as he has.
