Andrea’s Spa and Nail Salon

Andrea is the best person to do eyebrows HANDS DOWN!!! My sister and I have been going to her for years and she always leaves us happy when we leave the salon. It gets busy on the weekends, so I suggest going there early when they open which is 9:30 am. However, if it’s way too busy just take a number, and come back before you’re number is called. It’s definitely worth the wait!

Just went in for a manicure and the lady behind the desk let me in so I sat down for a few minutes and a nail tech was on her phone. The owner came in said hi and did someone’s eyebrows. Hello? I wanted a manicure maybe they assumed I wanted a brow service but in business there is «No room to assume» I’ll take me and my money elsewhere!

I’ve been a customer of Andrea’s before she moved to her own salon and she is a totally professional cosmotologist who does not toot her own horn. Her staff is also well-​trained manicurists. Andreas specializes in eyebrows and it is well worth visiting her salon, especially if you love eyebrow tinting. Noone walks out dissatisfied with their service as long as I’ve been with her. If you have scarce eyebrows she works magic making them look good too! If you get there and it’s busy, you take your number [only for eyebrows], inquire what # she’s up to, do the math and you’ll know how long your wait will be, then go on Jamaica Ave and do some window shopping or buying, whatever you choose. But you don’t need sit there. Just make sure you’re back before your # is called.

I’ve been going to Andrea to get my eyebrows done for as long as I can remember. In fact, so has my mom and grandmother! She’s truly the best at what she does. She keeps her salon neat and clean.
Can’t forget to mention that she has probably the best mani-​pedi special on Jamaica Ave. All of her polishes are top quality brands (OPI, Essie, China Glaze, etc.) not that cheap stuff all the other local salons use that chips off as soon as you walk out of the door.
Andrea’s does get very crowded at times so go during off-​peak hours.
