What a wonderful store!!! Filled with really special items. If you can’t find something go there and you will find it!

Short version: I can’t afford ANYTHING in here. But the salespeople were so nice to me regardless, that I really wish I could.
Popped into here on a whim as I was walking by and saw a pretty watch in the window. They took it out of the window for me to try on — it was GORGEOUS, but it was platinum and diamond and therefore $ 7800. Yeah. Tried another Croton ladies’ watch on that was 14k gold and diamond, for $ 4500. They were still nice to me even after I said that was so far out of my price range it wasn’t worth contemplating.
Then moved to the cufflink rack — they have a LARGE selection of double-​sided enamel cufflinks, the kinds that look like buttons joined with chains (so you never see a plain bar). My fave pair, in mint enamel, cost $ 650. Another pair I picked out turned out to be platinum (again) and cost $ 900. Again, this is all orders of magnitude above what I can afford, but everything I saw was really lovely and clearly classy quality stuff.
They were so nice to me, even despite my making it clear early on that I didn’t have that much money to spend, that I almost wish I had had the ability to buy something. I will say that their collection of estate jewelry is BEAUTIFUL, including lots of diamond rings and gem-​studded bands, that if you are looking for a wedding set anyway, and would like something with more history and character (vintage jewelry can be SO much prettier and more finely-​wrought) that doesn’t encourage further diamond-​mining, then this store might be worth checking out. Or if you just have a lot of money and also like pretty old things, then you should check this place out too.
