Ai Ja Lee Acupuncture & Herbs

It’s a small practice. The best way to describe it is old school and authentic. Many acupuncture places will just use needles. Depending on your condition, Dr. Lee may use more than one treatment including acupuncture (needles), acupressure (suction cups), moxibustion (burning plant), or herbal remedies.
I went here just after having surgery for a broken finger. I had no feeling at all in the entire finger and the surgeon and doctors didn’t know why. (nerve wasn’t cut) After just one treatment, I started to have the tiniest of sensations. After two weeks of treatment (4 visits) I had 95% of feeling back.
The finger also has another issue. I can’t bend it because the doctors say the tendon is pinned down by scar tissue adhesions caused by the trauma of the initial wound and the surgery. (splinted for 6 weeks) I’m still going to acupuncture and the finger has started to bend. It’s not there yet, but I’m optimistic!

Some background — I am 37, treating secondary infertility for almost four years with high FSH and low ovarian reserve. I had 5 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs and I was losing hope and the doctors didn’t sound optimistic at all. I didn’t know before but the quality of the eggs can be influenced during the prior 5 months before ‘deployment’ and thus improve the quality of the egg. I will keep going for more acupuncture session during my pregnancy. I pray for a healthy pregnancy!

My wife and I normally shy away from speaking about our private lives but the

About 2 years ago, my wife and I started trying for our first child without any
imagination of having issues. After several failed IUI and IVF treatments, we were so
