What a lovely John Lennon 75th anniversary exhibition. Yoko, you should be there one time so we can take a photo together ! The staff is GENUINELY friendly and VERY educated. Our society needs more people like that.

Amazing gallery. It has very unique art and sculptures. If you are in SoHo, this place is a must visit for art lovers. And it is free to watch and they allow you to take as many pictures as you like(but phone cameras only). Will come again, and if I am rich(one day), maybe but something.

I had been to this gallery many times in the past but never purchased anything. I remember coming here around 2001 and seeing a piece that had the original Jack Skellington heads from Nightmare Before Christmas. I’ve seen a variety of pop art here, such as urban and pop surrealism. This time around we were approached by a staff member, Jacqueline, who started inquiring about our interest level. I honestly had no intention of buying anything, but while my wife was giving her our email address I noticed a folder labeled Kathie Olivas — one of my favorite artists. It turned out that they had several Olivas originals and one sculpture. I purchased those along with a really cool light fixture. The service that I received after the sale has been incredible. Jacqueline noticed a slight imperfection on one of the pieces and then sent it back to Kathie to be touched up. Her communication with me has been fantastic. Highly recommended.

Only been to the gallery twice and on both occasion they had exhibits that focused on illustrations/illustrators(i.e. Maurice Sendak and Brian Froud). I loved the items on display and on view. They also have a downstairs space. Not particularly fond of the staff here, art gallery types who seem more cold than customer service friendly but as usual I’m here for the art only.

What a cool gallery! I stopped by here for the«World of Froud» exhibit. As a fan of the Frouds I’d had this advertised to me from several different sources, and I’m always happy to see more of their work. I was surprised that it was such a small exhibition — but the gallery had lots of other fun stuff to look at! They specialize in animation-related art, and they had original works by Dr. Seuss, Charles Schulz, H.A. Rey, and several well-known superhero cartoonists. They also had some cool robot sculptures and other merchandise. A stop by here is a definite ‘must’ for any fan of comics and animation.

The animation(or things similar) concept is very fun, and gallery does an exceptional job of sourcing the works of very notable creators. Beyond that, the space is laid out in a very pleasing way, both upstairs and basement, to allow the pieces to be attractively showcased and intimately displaced. The people working here are nice, and helpful. Both art work pieces and exhibit catalogs are fairly priced.

I was really into the openness and spaciousness of the gallery, and their Peanuts gallery was captivating. I wish I was rich enough to buy something other than the printed poster for $ 20! Having said that, while the owner of the gallery of very knowledgeable, the rest of the employees kind of hovered around me. I need my personal space when it comes to gallery perusing, and they often disrupted my bubble. Just a pet peeve, though. Most people like being helped.

Very friendly staff, and unique pieces. I thought the prices were fair for this gallery and the staff was kind and very helpful. We expressed some interest in some of the robot sculptures and were given price lists and contact info to take home and look at. We were also shown around the lower level gallery(stairs are at the back). The woman helping us told us unique facts about the Dr. Suss work on display and showed us some excellent personal details within the pieces. I love exploring galleries for good pieces/prices. This had a better collection of illustration work than I’ve seen museum’s put together and it was free to look around. I recommend this gallery if you are looking for modern colorful pieces.
