Got a bunch of work pants from this store! They were like $ 5 dollars a pair! Best part is the quality I have some that have lasted for years! I come from long island and would definetly say this store is worth the trip!

It depends on what your looking for when you come to this store since usually every type of clothing is in their own basket and unorganized. I would say this store does have good stuff in great affordable prices but it don’t have any common brand names. If you want like a clothing brand that you know and love then I suggest that you go to the Queens Center Mall. I give it three stars cause even though I’m neutral about the store it does have great prices on clothing.

I bought my Snoopy slippers here for under $ 3!!! So cheap! I also bought a super sized wire shopping cart when my last one broke on the way to the laundromat. It’s pretty chaotic with lots of shoppers and with too much inventory it’s very disorganized.

I have sort of a love-hate relationship with ABC. I love it because I’ve gotten $ 3.99 pashminas there.(Yes, your eyes did not betray you. FOURDOLLAR, department store quality, silk/pashmina blend wraps.) I hate it because my mom will drag me into that packed nest of racks to «give it an eye-ball» for 45(!) minutes. Hmph. I also hate it because pretty much the only good thing I’ve ever gotten there are those pashminas. I’m not saying they don’t potentially have a lot of other great bargains. They do. However, I’m not a petite gal and most of their cute clothing errs toward junior sizing. Anything large enough to fit me is usually very matronly or not my style. This place is a lot more useful for families and petite people than for a curvy clothes horse such as yours truly. When you shop, you have to keep in mind that quality is obviously not their priority. Please, carefully inspect anything and everything before you buy it. They do sell a lot of slightly irregular/damaged goods. This is especially true of things that appear to be good quality or are an actual name brand(yes, they do carry them occasionally). For example, those pashminas I scored were bought only after sorting through a bunch of others with snags or imperfections. Customer service is also not a big, golden ideal here. You WILL get yelled at if you try to put any item of clothing on to test it. Even a cardigan or jacket. There are no fitting rooms. The cashiers can be snotty or rude. They have an odd assortment of cheap household items as well. It’s worth a *quick* peek if you’re nearby

You kind of have to readjust your expectations and standards when rating a place like ABC Super Store. They are the type of store where nothing is over $ 10. I like to browse in here from time to time, as it’s on the same block as the 7 subway station, and they always have attention grabbing $ 1.99 t-shirt racks in the window. I’ve bought four things here: two tank tops, a pair of bicycle shorts to wear under dresses(yes, I am *that* type), and two screen print t-shirts. The grand total of all five items was $ 20, due mostly to the fact that each t-shirt was $ 5. The tank tops were between $ 2 — $ 4. Everything is holding up great, especially considering that nothing cost over $ 5. However, one of the tank top has this embroidered design, and that is slowly but surely coming undone, but you should really expect that to happen. The store is divided in half between women and men’s clothing. It’s all pretty cheaply made, hence the dirt-cheap prices. They sell sneakers, some home supplies such as curtains, and luggage. It’s always packed in here, and they shove so much clothing in the store that it’s pretty much a guarantee that you will get stuck on a hanger and/or a fellow store patron. I grew up shopping for really inexpensive clothing, and when we first came to this country we were always at Factory 2 U, so I’m not a clothing snob at all. I mostly see Latino immigrants shopping here, because it’s a great way to dress yourself and your family on a really tight budget, and if anything happens to the clothes, you won’t feel too bad because they were so inexpensive. Don’t come here if you are a fashionista or hate immigrants. Come here if you are looking for some inexpensive shirts to vary up your wardrobe.
