Amazing doctor. He performed surgery on me I thank God for leading me to Dr. Heymann. Well experienced, knowledgable, special personality :-). I feel like he saved my life. I saw several doctors for over 2yrs no one took into consideration my sufferings could be from my csection I had. My health went south immediately after that csection I had in 2010. Anyways I met dr heymann august 2013 received my surgery sept 2013! I feel 100% better. Thank you dr heymann with my upmost gratitude !

Dr. Heymann is an amazing surgeon. His knowledge and skill are unsurpassed. He performed LAP gallbladder removal on me in January, and it was my 2^nd abdominal surgery. I was terrified as my first experience had not been a good one. This was a completely different– due to Dr. Heymann. Kind, considerate, patient, informative and totally available before and after the procedure. I have only high praise for this man and I count my blessings that I found him. I am an extremely nervous patient and I am very sensitive to medications– he took that in as real information and worked with me to get me back to health. My last visit with him about month after surgery, he looked at me with a genuine smile on his face and said «go buy yourself a piece of chocolate. Don’t eat the whole bar! Just enjoy some chocolate.» I questioned the wisdom of this and he said «I am not telling you to eat a ton of fat. I am telling you to go live your life– the gallbladder surgery is over and you are fine.»
It is and I am.

Dr. Heymann is a great surgeon because he is highly skilled and takes the time to explain details about surgery and answer any/​all questions. Very personable and kind. The office staff is also very professional and have great attention to detail. Fits you in if you need a last minute appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Heymann.

Surgeon who does out-​patient work. Very helpful when needed: took me the same day need arose, quite suddenly.
UPDATE: BIGGGGG misunderstanding (and bill): I had been told he participates in GHI insurance, and he does not.
Make sure you clarify which insurance he (and any doctor) takes before your treatment.
