They did a great job framing two rather large maps that I had. The price wasn’t inexpensive but seemed reasonable and they were attentive and helpful in walking me through all of the details. They’re very responsive to inquiries and the process took 2 weeks to complete (I did not request a rush order).

I purchased a gigantic painting (57″ x 57″) while traveling and it became a nightmare to find a place to frame it. Luckily, I found 567 Framing and they not only offered me the price of $ 100 – 300 less than other places, but also did the perfect job. It’s such a nice surprise when customer service is top of the line and I could not be more pleased with the support I received from Shane at 567 Framing on 14^th street. I was a walk in off the street and she was extremely knowledgeable and helped me in store. But then she went above and beyond to communicate with me via email for the next week. My order arrived on time (thanks to some quick thinking by the 567 team when there was a processing error) and I am extremely happy with how the frames turned out! The hype is true, I went here back on the Unilocal reviews and found both the service and the prices to be top notch. I’ve since had 5 pictures framed here. Only had a problem once — the picture border had not been removed, and they corrected it without fuss. I am a customer for life!

I took my diploma to 567 framing to match it to my previous degree. They gave me a stylish, two-​tone frame with a double mat for about $ 200, and the quality was impeccable. I dinged one star because they forgot to ship it out until I called after a month. Oh well. I’d still gladly work with them again for future framing projects!

quality work, reasonably fast turnaround, friendly service, and excellent pricing. The ladies are always very helpful, take a real interest in your art/​photo and offer artistic input free of ego. I would highly recommend them. That said… being 3 blocks from my apartment does make me a little biased!

I’ve had 6 pieces framed here and I am very pleased with the results. The staff here are pleasant, easy to work with and patient as you comb through their assortment of frames; offering many helpful suggestions along the way. One of my pieces came back with a very minor flaw and they were quick to fix it. Their prices are reasonable and their turnaround time is fast.

This is a great neighborhood frame shop I’ve used for quite some time. Wendee is one of the main employees here and she is both sassy and professional. I love her!!! They are pretty good with deadlines and can work with most budgets. I also like that they are near several subways.

567 did a fine job framing the work I brought them — my big problem was that the quote they gave me was half of what I was eventually charged when I picked up the finished frame. Since I’m a freelance artist and fronted the money for the frame, the huge change in price was a financial blow to me since I ended up having to absorb some of the price difference.
Obviously it’s partially my fault for not waiting to send my client the bill until I had seen the real bill, but still, underquoting that low is a shady business practice and makes me hesitant to go back.

I’ve been working with this frame shop to have my art prints done. Staff is very friendly and attentive, they will try hard to fulfill a clients desire and vision of a good work. I worked with Wendee and Jack in a Chelsea location and with Ryan in Brooklyn location. They made my giclee prints came out amazingly nice and bright, the quality and timing is amazing. Love this place! I’ve recommended it to a couple of my friends too!

Great experience for a first timer! Tiffany was very patient, knowledgeable, and professional! I live on the UWS and it was worth the travels! And for a few extra dollars, they will deliver my artwork! Awesome!!!

Got an oil painting when I was in Africa and I had to take out the stretcher bars … All the framing stores I went to were charging $ 120+ but found 567 ! The turn around time was great! It took them 2 days to return. They charged me $ 70 to stretch a 32×47. had a little issue when the girl in the store quoted me a wrong price initially but she was very apologetic about it.

If you talk to me long enough (10 minutes, really), you’ll learn that I love photography. Sometimes, I even get lucky enough to put some of it on display. When I got the opportunity to showcase some of my work recently, I decided that I’d get some high quality prints, and then get them custom framed. After some searching, I stopped in at 567 Framing and told them what I needed.
It was really simple to choose a style of frame I wanted, as well as the glass options, because they were all immediately visible in the shop. I went with a plain black wooden frame, 2 inch white mats, and non-​glare plexiglass. I had fourteen 12×18″ prints to be framed, and I was told the work would be ready in 2 weeks.
They finished ahead of schedule, and when I came down to get my pieces, they looked fantastic.
Not only that, but they even compensated for some information I failed to give them. See, a couple of the photos I had were very geometric in nature, so it wouldn’t be easy to know which side was up. They simply put two wires on the back of the frame, so they could be hung either side up (in landscape orientation). I appreciate that extra effort just to avoid confusion.
If I ever had something important to frame, I’d be sure to come back here; the service was quick, friendly, and of high quality.

I too will have a problem expressing both my gratitude and the quality of work provided to me by 567 Framing.
My story begins the night of Sunday, March 9, 2014. An electrical fire began unbeknownst to my family and me until it was out of control and fast consuming all of our material possessions. By the time the fire department arrived and put the fire out, we had lost virtually everything we own.
One of the notable exceptions was a small pillow my nine year old daughter had sewn for my wife for Mother’s Day 2013. One of its corners were burned and soot covered it, including the «M» stitched into its middle.
After reading the previous reviews on Unilocal and elsewhere, I compared a shortlist of three framers in NYC and ultimately decided on 567 Framing. A quick call to Mavis at their 14^th St store and I had no doubt I had chosen the right place. Once at the store after work, both Mavis and Jack Hu spent as much time as was necessary until I had my «Ah-​Ha» moment — that instance when your heart sings and you know for sure you have hit the right combination of frame, matte and glass.
The challenge with what I wanted was the fact to accommodate even a small pillow, a custom frame box had to be created. Undaunted by the complexity at hand, Mavis and Jack figured out a way to combine 5 frames, matte and museum glass into a frame of extraordinary character and sublime brilliance.
My daughters and I presented it to my wife on her birthday this past weekend and it was received with tears and trembling. It a family heirloom that will always remind us of the indestructibility of Love. I am convinced that no better job could’ve been accomplished anywhere else. Period. I have no further words…

I had a great experience at 567 Framing after finding it on Unilocal.I don’t know anything about framing or where to go, so thanks Unilocal!I came during the week around 5:30 pm and was able to talk to someone right away. They were very friendly and the woman who helped me really took her time with the print I wanted to get framed. I told her I just wanted something simple and didn’t really know what I was doing and she gave me some great suggestions. She ended up suggesting a color and type of frame that I would never have thought of, and it really brought out the softer tones in the print. It looks great!
As far as pricing, framing in general can get expensive so I don’t think 567’s prices are anything out of the ordinary. I paid half of the total price as a deposit when I dropped off the print and then paid the remaining balance when I came back to pick up the finished print. They told me it would take about 7 – 10 days and in a week my print was ready.

I had my master diploma framed, the sales is truly helpful in design like frame style and color matting. The price is reasonable, I got quote with other framing stores, this place just stands out with their prompt response and follow up calling. Most of my friends asked about the framing place when they see my diploma frame. And the museum glass is amazing. The samples on the wall inspired me a lot. I will definitely come back, the best framing shop in the city. Thanks!

I needed to get custom matting done for three comic books that I wanted framed. I originally wanted to get it custom framed but they recommended Ikea frames. The Ikea frames were perfect. Their custom matting was done perfectly. The measurements were on point and the quality excellent. My comic books look fantastic.
Three custom matting cost me $ 45 plus tax. I’m at a point in my life that I am willing to get spend money to get sentimental things displayed professionally.
You can always ask for a better price and they are willing to work with you, just bargain with skill, not like a cheapskate or an moody child.
