Not bad if you are desperate for some international products. Not the best though food is a bit old and prices are really high.

I’ve been coming here for over 15 years. Persian grocer. Awesome selection of nuts and dried fruit. They have the pistachios with lemon juice and salt. They use to carry a better version but, it’s still delicious. Also they have Turkish Pistachios, they are wonderful. The guy scoops you out what you want to the exact weight every time. I have this thing with pistachios where when I buy a bag, I can’t do anything else until I finish all of them. It’s rather distracting. It’s the burden I bare. It’s one of the only areas in my life where I have no self control. I sit there with a blank look on my face cracking one after another. Super nice guy runs the place. Good stuff. Go here and support them

I don’t know any other Iranian supermarket in Manhattan so this is a great place for our shopping of items such as kashk, spices, dried lime, reshteh, etc. I did not give them 5 star because they don’t have ALL of items we need especially fresh Iranian fruits such as goje sabz and chaghale but I understand that will probably be too much for this store with limited Iranian customers. I hope they stay open!

I’ve dropped in here a few times and am amazed at what they manage to squeeze in here. Impressive lineup of dried fruits, and you can get a good deal here and there.

I’m dropping it down a star because we found a live worm in our pistachios. Not cool.

This place is pretty small, but it gets the job done if you need stuff from home – e.g. rose water, some shirini, chayeh ahmad, cardomom, etc. Decent enough and I’m not 100% sure, but I believe it’s the only«Persian» market in NYC. Or maybe one of two? Either way, it’s probably got the Irooni basics if you need them.
