I travel a lot and sometimes just don’t have time to get everything done before I head out again so, if I have one less errand to run and can take care of it at the airport — that’s an automatic star from me. :10 Minute Manicure is in an airport terminal so just remember that and set expectations accordingly. It is not the best manicure you’ll ever receive, nor is it 10 minutes(it’s about 20 – 25 minutes for the most basic). It does the job though. My french manicure was very reasonable for NYC, $ 23 which included the automatically added gratuity. It didn’t last very long but it worked. If it weren’t at the airport it would receive 1 – 2 stars, but for convenience it definitely is okay.

First of all :10 min has hands down the best selection of nails in the city with those kinds of prices. Second off I was cared for quickly and craftily the 15% tip i didnt mind i really enjoyed the general atmosphere as well. Actually my only regret was i didnt have time to try the rightsmile cosmetic laser teeth whitening… I didnt have 15 minutes or i would have missed my FLIGHT! HAHA!

I didn’t get a chance to get to my nails done before leaving on buisness, so this was perfect for the time I had waiting for my flight. I visited the shop in the AA terminal. They only had one girl working and I had to come back, which wasn’t a big deal, and they took me right away on my return. They don’t clip cuticles as part of the ten min package, but do push them back. Overall the manicure was more like 30 minutes from the time I sat down until the time I finished drying, There’s no soaking or attention to detail(to be expected for an express manicure). The staff was very polite and friendly. They include a 15% tip in the total cost($ 17.25). I would go back again if I was in a pinch.

I went to the location in the American Airlines terminal post-security. I found them by looking at the airport terminal map. I was attended to quickly. I decided on the traditional 10-minute manicure they offer, which did last 10 minutes. My nail tech was friendly and diligent — the manicure turned out great. The price is cheap(it’s cheaper than what I would pay at a «cheap» place in Washington, DC). I do agree that the polish should be perfected. I thought the selection that they have is perfect(not too many to choose from, not too little as well) –but– I do agree with a previous reviewer that it does indent, even a few hours after the manicure. I think this is a great idea(and I’ve always thought that there should be more service-related places at the airport).

The staff was not very friendly, and not delicate also(it was hurtfull). The job is not well done… and I paid $ 34 for cracked polish. Don’t go there

Only desperate women should come here. Or in our case, women with excessively long layovers. We had a 6-hour layover at JFK and my manicure was hurting. So was my sisters. We didn’t know what to do with ourselves so we decided to pay the $ 15 for the 10-minute manicure… heck, we were on vacation. We were waiting more than 10 minutes before our service even began. Not a very good first impression.(I guess we hit their rush period.) After picking from their very limited polish selection, my sister and I were disappointed to find that both our colors were on their last legs and our manicurist was practically scraping the bottle to get the color on our nails. End of the bottle = thick as paste. I did not expect perfection in 10 minutes, but I did expect a relatively smooth finish. I was disappointed. The paste-like polish never dried properly and kept acquiring indents, even hours after my manicure. While the color lasted longer than other manicures(paste IS durable), I recommend including nail polish remover and an emery board in your carry on and giving yourself a less than $ 15 and less than 10-minute manicure. It will be much better.
