I’m sorry I have to post a bad review for a small business. My wife and I rented a Uhaul from this location. We thought we would only need it for a day but ended up having it about 36 hours. We rented on a Tuesday at approx 11 am. Dropped it off just before midnight on Wednesday. So, not a full two days but I know since we dropped it off after business hours the next day, we would be charged two days. That’s fine. But, the incompetence of the employees takes over at this point. Instead of checking the key drop box when they opened, they checked it after noon. Thus checking in our rental on the THIRD day. Wtf?!? On top of that, they sent an email stating we didn’t pay and a late fee will be charged on a certain day if we did not pay. There is a very tall gentleman who works there. He was nice when I called. But, their«Uhaul system» was down and he couldn’t do anything. He said he’d call me when it was up. He never did. Late fee charged. I called a few days later. Spoke to a young lady. It was apparent she did not have an answer. I could hear some one giving her instructions. Instead of getting on the phone with me, the manager continued to talk through her saying, it’s too late I have to call Uhaul. I insisted he get on the phone. He did. And just repeated himself. I asked over and over why they checked in the truck so late. He would not answer. I asked why didn’t they just run the card on file. Why did I get charged a late fee? He claimed it was declined however he NEVER checked. I was literally looking at my wife’s credit card account while talking to him. PLENTYOFMONEYAVAILABLE. It never got declined per Cap 1. He lied directly to me without flinching. I eventually called Uhual trying to remedy it and disputed charges of about $ 49, not the entire bill, just what we should not have been charged. The manager in this store is a thief. He stole our $ 49. I would not recommend doing business with them.

I always want to give this place business but every time I try, there’s an issue. I came in today to ship something either fedex or postal service. I asked for a box. The box needed tape. No, I don’t carry tape in my handy purse that I can whip out to create a box. I asked for tape. I was told I could buy some. Uh, no thanks. I get it, they’re a small family owned business but for the love of tape gods, it’s not that serious to have some tape on deck. I would have paid a buck for some tape rather than 6 bucks for a roll. A few months ago I came and asked for a FedEx box so I could ship something, and they told me I needed to buy it. Ummm, no. They’re free, even at FedEx. Shipping something shouldn’t be so hard. Even though this place is so convenient for me, it is off my list. I’ll drive the extra to go to the post office or FedEx. Oh, the plus is there’s never a line!

So helpful! Even though they didn’t have the u-haul I needed they called and helped me reserve one at another location. Can’t ask for better help than that!
