Le Ly’s Nails

Been here a few times, pedicures aren’t very long, don’t get a good leg or foot massage, younger son messes up when painting toenails, he is rude when he speaks to clients… today, turned off my «drier» on my toes and asked if I was going now… never any music playing most of the time the tv isn’t even on

Great little nail salon near white marsh mall! Family own and the lady (the mom) who runs (?) the business is amazing. Friend and i showed up on short notice for mani/​pedi and they were able to accomodate us! Busy little place, so maybe call ahead or expect to wait a little? Will be back if back in the area!

If I could give no stars I would! The younger guy who did my moms manicure and mine is rude! Idk his name, he’s the fatter son out of the three. He does my moms manicure, not even asking first if she had ever had gel polish before. So he just does the gel polish, no manicure. Shes use to and should have a manicure first then gel polish since she has never had gel before. As a nail tech you should make sure the client has their cuticles pushed back or cut, so they will get the best results with the gel polish. My mom is not too happy goes ahead with the gel polish (no manicure) She tells him if she knew this she could’ve painted her nails herself. He states «I think your mom should just do her own nails» in a rude tone .wow! Next he tells me he hates doing nails. I told him it seems like it! He said «no it’s the customers that piss me off». He used the electric file and hurt my moms finger. Let me remind you she’s diabetic so that’s very dangerous if she gets cut. He didn’t care… Why is he using an electric file when she has natural nails anyway?! He told my mom the price for our nails when he finished her nails. Then when my nails were finished she ask him how much again. Remind you my mom is older and has memory loss and he rudely says «you don’t remember I told you the price» I told him she’s old! And he said no she’s not… Wow such a jerk. He doesn’t know what health problems someone might have, so he shouldn’t be so nasty. Not to mention the place is not very clean and organized looking inside. There was a random sewing machine sitting on the manicure table next to me! This is the first and last time I’m coming here!

I went here very early on a Saturday morning. There were 2 other people there and only one nail technician at the time and she asked me to wait a few minutes until her son came in so he could continue with my shellac manicure. I didn’t mind waiting because I did call last minute to get an appointment. Her son did a fantastic job my manicure and I plan on going back. This was my first time getting a shellac mani and I am hooked! It’s been 2 weeks and my nails still look great, except for the new grow in, but no chipping or peeling. Very pleased with my experience and my mani!

At first I called here and couldn’t get anyone on the phone. I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised. There is somewhat of a language barrier here, little to no English is spoken however they know what they’re doing and what the customer needs. I got a pedicure that looked and felt great, they even applied hot towels and delicious-​smelling scrub. I also went for an eyebrow wax. Ly has a great touch. Overall it is clean, professional, and reasonably priced. I’m going back

This nail salon opened not too long ago but it is definitely worth trying. I’m just glad I can be the first to review this place! It is family-​owned and operated only by a mother and her two sons. They will take really good care of you and do great work on your nails (pictures to come later). I personally like the «homey» feeling I get when I get my nails done and since they know you by name here — I feel pretty important, that’s for sure. There is ample parking, however I would suggest calling and making an appointment about 2 hours before you want to get your nails done, since they get very busy and may make you wait a while or they will tell you to come back later when it has slowed down. Overall, the prices are cheap, the family workers are super friendly and Le Ly’s is almost one of the only nail salons that actually opens on Sundays! :)
