Cannella’s Italian Eatery

Firewall 5! Maybe the best sandwiches out there. In the past I’ve always ordered the Italian Cold Cut or something similar. Today we ordered the Leonardo which is pork panini and a Corned Beef Honey Wrap. That food was gone before I could snap a shot to show you. This sub shop could use a little facelift but it works in the heart of Perry Hall. Those Italians know what they’re doing. Simply Good Food and service.

I just had the Soprano hot sub. Tony would be proud. Delicious!!!

I have been a very satisfied Canella’s customer for decades. The food is always delicious and the service is always pleasant. Canella’s is a family owned and operated eatery that is truly a Perry Hall treasure. The lasagna is the best in Baltimore. The Italian cold cut can’t be beat and the penne feta pasta salad is awesome! I love the shrimp salad too.

I have lived in the neighborhood for 10+ years and never knew this place existed. Boy am I glad I found it. I had some sort of panini and a pasta salad and it was great. The staff was friendly and helped me pick my sandwich. They have a nice size menu and it appears as though they do a lot of catering. I will be back.

This is a great place to get a fresh and delicious deli sandwich with good bread. Highly recommend. I haven’t been there for a while so I can’t make a specific recommendation, but everything I have had was very good.

Everything’s delicious here. The service is outstanding. The catering is always on time and correct. The catering choices taste better than going to any restaurant in Baltimore.
I recommend the Revolution and MD crab soup for lunch and order Chicken Chesapeake and put it on top the seafood feta Alfredo if you need catering.
Definitely eat here if you get the chance!

Chicken cheezy steak wrap was amaze-​balls!!! I could eat 4 in a row if I had an endless stomach! Staff is friendly as well, which is a +!

Good food but hours too random. Stopped in at 7:15 and was told they were closing at 7:30 since it was so cold.

Have been coming to Canellas since late 2008 maybe? The Leonardo is my #1 pick. Meatball subs are wonderful. Feta tomato salad is amazing. Hands down best Italian deli for miles!

Been here multiple times, absolutely amazing multiple times. I’ve had Italian subs and sandwiches up and down the East Coast. Cannella’s is right up there with the cream of the crop. Try the salad dishes, all homemade… all amazing.

Just get The Godfather and you’ll know why I gave this joint the thumbs up! Looking forward to seeing what the rest of the menu has to offer. The sides are all really solid too. Some of the best pasta salad I’ve ever had.

Officially won’t be returning here. I ordered some artichoke hearts and pasta salad to-​go and when I got home to serve them, I discovered a dead horsefly in the container with the food.

One of the best Italian delis in the Baltimore area, right up there with DiPasquale’s and Trinacria! The sandwiches are great, the other sides are also delicious and the service gets the job done. I’ve had several sandwiches there, I think you could pretty much pick anything and be happy with it. We’ve had more of the pasta-​based sides and they’ve all been good, mostly just slight variations of the same thing. Overall, it’s a great place for lunch and you can even go there for dinner since they are open later than a traditional deli.

Without a doubt, the best Italian cold cuts I’ve ever had. They use authentic Italian meats and cheeses to create a sub that you will savor, enjoy, and remember for a long time. They put plenty of meat in the sandwiches and use fantastic fresh bread. I am still amazed at what you spend vs what you get. It is an incredible value and worth the half hour drive I make to get them.

He meatball sub is no joke the best sub I have ever had. If you enjoy large portion for the right price this is the place.

Love it! Cold n hot hoagies, everything is delicious and the price is reasonable. Why you want to spend 5 dollars for Subway? Cannella’s is the best!

This place is absolutely FABULOUS!!! I can not rave about this Italian Eatery enough. Their salads are to die for and the prices for how much you get you can’t beat. It’s very rare to find today a family owned deli and they work there and make all the food from scratch the quality in taste is out of this world!
My bf introduced me to this place back in 06 and eversince I have been hooked! They have this wrap called «The God Father» once you have had it no other wrap will ever taste the same. Their wraps are so big you can only finish but maybe one side and then your taking the rest home. You can attempt to get a salad from their counter to go with your entray but if your a person who eats your side last like me your sure to be taking it home with you.
The staff is so warm and family oriented which I absolutely love. There has never been a time I’ve walked in that they didn’t know my name and ask how my family was doing which tells me the genuinely appreciate and care about their customers which is a quality a lot of these restaurants lack today. Cannella’s really is your Modern Day Corner Deli with that amazing traditional twist of old time customs that should have never been broken. I’ll never go anywhere else…

Authentic Italian deli with to-​go hot and cold subs, pasta, salads, etc.
They have tables and chairs inside but I wouldn’t recommend this for in-​house dining, much better for a grab ‘n’ go quick lunch or carry-​out. No alcohol, just soft drinks and various bottled drinks and water.
Very friendly staff, quick service and clean restrooms.
And… EXCELLENT MEATBALLS! Definitely a fantastic place to grab some larger portions if you don’t have time to cook for guests, etc.

Good lunch spot. Fabulous subs, wraps, sandwiches, meats and all things Italian. Love their chicken cheezy steak wrap! Katrina is a dear. Great salads and side items for take out or for catering. They will definitely accomodate for catering and parties. LOTS of dishes to choose from! Convenient location on Belair Road. Parking can be a little crazy, but worth it!
