Came here for dinner on a whim, I was staying at the hotel with my fiancé. I thought we were in for a typical bar style dinner, after all it was 930pm. Much to my surprise it was delicious. From my blueberry mule to the shrimp spring rolls to my delicious sword fish with pumpkin squash purée and a fig bacon sauce. I will stay at this hotel again just to eat at the restaurant. The hotel on the other is very dated, it screams 80’s luxury.

The booths here are so great for a family dinner. Nice and cozy with my mom and hubby. The shrimp cocktail was kind of sad but the cocktail sauce was tasty and spicy. I had the duck which was a little over cooked for my liking but still wet good with an excellent sauce and delicious mashed sweet potatoes. We also had the filet and the appetizer steak medallions. They thought they were cooked perfectly and cleaned their plates. Good service. Nice bar. A bit of an older crowd but it was fun and busy on a Saturday night. Lots of parking.

I have been going here for over 10 years and this place has never been disappointing. The wait staff is excellent and the food is very good. I have gone here for several occasions and they have always been able to accommodate me and my party for several events. They were excellent to deal with while setting it up and everything was ready when we arrived every time.

I came here for a special New Year’s Eve dinner with my boyfriend and I am so happy we did! We do not normally go anywhere«fancy» for dinner and though it would be a nice treat for the holiday and we were also provided with gift cards from some family members, this experience opened our eyes to wanting to splurge on ourselves more often and save up to be able to do this more for ourselves. I am happy we made a reservation because they did not seem packed by 100% busy for the holiday. Since they were so busy, I always get nervous that service may not be great and they may rush you through your meal to get the next table in, this WASNOT the case here at all. The server was so friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and really pleasant to have. I got a White Sangria and was so happy with the taste, it was not overbearing with alcohol and not watered down with juice, I was impressed! We knew pretty quick what we wanted for out appetizers and entrees and placed the order together. The server timed the meal to perfection, with allowance for us to have our appetizers finished and a little time between the entrée coming. I was in shock in how perfect it was timed, because I know it is not easy to do! I had the P.E.I. Mussels for my appetizer, and OHWOW, the cider sauce was amazing and the bacon was perfect(well really how can you go wrong with bacon?!) and the crostini w/the mussels was toasted to perfection and so good to dip in the cider sauce. My boyfriend had the Beef Medallion appetizer and the balsamic sauce with that was to DIE for! This being the opening to our meal set the pace for a great dinner. For my entrée I got the 5 oz. Filet w/Crab Cake and Roasted Veggies. I was craving a decent steak and that is what I got, cooked to a perfect Medium, the Bearnaise sauce was divine and the roasted veggies were perfect! My boyfriend got the Veal Chop and picked it clean, he was thrilled with his meal and we both cleared our plates! The best part about the meal was we were full but did not feel disgustingly bloated full, and had room to bring dessert home! The Molten Chocolate Cake was so good and the Espresso Panna Cotta was seriously flavorful. Another comment I have about this place is the noise level, it was amazingly quiet and you were able to have an actual conversation, I loved it! I hate a place that is so loud that I am unable to hear my dining guests, it was a HUGE plus for me. No loud music and acoustics allowing guests to chat. I cannot wait to come back here again, thank you for such an amazing experience!

I hesitate to give 5 stars, but I only have one visit as a reference, and that was a 5. We went on our anniversary with reservations on a not too busy Wednesday night. Happy Anniversary greetings from the hostess, and the waitress… service spot on, by the way. She was always paying attention. We both had martinis, perfectly crafted, and shimmering. The«simple salad» was sweet, tangy, salty, crunchy and delicious. My husband, a bit of a plain eater, said it was the most enjoyable one he’s ever had. I had the duck for an entrée; It was tender, cooked to perfection, a generous portion accompanied by a wild blackberry reduction and roasted pumpkin purée, and raw greens. Oh, and I forgot the cranberry nut bread in the basket, it was yummy. A nice bottle of Cab from the reasonably priced wine list, and we were presented with a complimentary poached pear crumble on a plate decorated with a chocolate drizzle «Happy Anniversary» message. Coffee was good and strong, tasted Dominican maybe? Just wish the hubby was a bit more adventurous, so I could report on 2 entrees. He just had baked cod on request from the previous early bird menu, but it was good. We’ll be back for sure, 5 stars is hard to maintain, but for this visit can’t find a reason to give less.

Loved the Sunday brunch. Nice atmosphere and we were not rushed. Brunch is «sit down» and not like a cattle call. Very good selections on the menu, priced fairly and my family will be back with our friends. Made reservations through open table and had no issue with getting a seat with a window for our out of town guests to enjoy. You have to try the crab cake benedict!!!

Back at One Bistro last week with our kids and, yet again, everything was perfect. From my son’s burger to my wife’s pizza to my salmon, all executed perfectly. Dan was attentive and friendly, right there when needed. Some nice new updates to the menu, too. Can’t wait to go back and try them. Keep up the great work, One Bistro!

We were disappointed in the lack of attention by our young and seemingly inexperienced server(which was not the case on our last few visits). Our Seafood risotto meals were average — my Mom received a free dessert and our bill was reduced because of her disappointment in the short rib meal. My sister reached out to the manager after dinner and asked that he make sure a candle was placed in one dessert for my Mom’s Birthday and that was forgotten by our waitress(or not passed along?) This restaurant was a great place to eat… but not on this visit…

We were here for lunch on Saturday afternoon. Not busy at all and sat right away. The bread was very good and our meal came very quick. I got the trio and all of the items were very good. Would recommend to others.

This review is for a retirement party I attended the other night. One Bistro seems to have its own function room attached to the Four Points, so I was skeptical about how things might go after my previous negative experience at a Four Points function last year. How wrong I was. The room held nearly 100 people and was a modern, well-kept space that is far superior to other rooms this hotel offers. Beautiful blue tones, great bar, good AV, great staff support. Wonderful bartender(wish I’d caught her name, because she mixed a great cocktail). Food was really very good: tasty London broil, good(yet overdressed) Caesar, and all the trimmings. The only comment I can make is that the mashed were a bit bland and the veggies were a bit overcooked, but it’s banquet food, not the Four Seasons. Overall, One Bistro’s banquet space restored my faith in this Sheraton property, and I’d probably look here first if I ever needed to book a special event.

I enjoyed drinks and dinner with a friend and would return. I had short ribs with carrots. I had a work trip and also used the bar. Good service and fair pricing. I also enjoyed the crab cakes appetizer.

We went in last Friday night for drinks and apps at the bar. As soon as my wife and I entered we were greeted warmly by the host person. She checked for open seats at the bar and helped us over. As soon as we sat the bartender, Brian, again greeted us and asked if we would like to see the new drink menu. We ordered two drinks off the menu. Both were delicious. He also asked if we would be needing a dinner menu. We ordered a Tenderloin medallion app and a for spring baked Brie app. Both were delicious. The beef medallion melted on your tongue and the Brie was sweet and creamy. I would recommend both. We stayed and ordered a couple more drinks and met some really wonderful people at the bar. The manager Justin even took the time to check on us. A very good experience. We will be there again this weekend. A great find for our neighborhood. I highly recommend this restaurant.

One Bistro is my go-to place for meals and cocktails whenever I’m in Norwood, Mass., on business travel. Great menu with something to please every palate! Bar is always a hub of activity, and staff are super friendly. On a recent visit – when I was feeling particularly indecisive – bartender Kaitlyn made me the perfect martini of blood orange and passion fruit juices(among other amazing flavors) when I described the type of drink I was in the mood for. I love when servers are creative and accommodating, and Kaitlyn did not disappoint. One Bistro is worth checking out if you’re in the area!

Came here for a special anniversary dinner. Started with the calamari and seafood chowder. The calamari was good but the soup had too many potatoes and the seafood in it seemed to disintegrate in your mouth. I had the seafood risotto which was bland and my husband had the braised short rib which he enjoyed. I liked the bread that came in the basket, especially the cranberry bread. We also had the molten lava cake dessert which was very good but would have been better if they used fudge instead of chocolate syrup. The pizzas on the menu looked interesting so I would have that next time.

If you’re looking for a perfectly cooked steak in this area… This is the place! My husband ordered it with a Demi sauce, and it was truly a thing of beauty… not to mention it didn’t taste bad either. I ordered a pizza, and immediately had buyers remorse! The pizza was dry & bland, so that took them down a star. But because the drinks were strong & the service was great… They still get four stars!

Enjoyed dinner at One Bistro in Norwood Friday night. I am not normally a fan of hotel restaurants, but One Bistro was an impressive spot within the Four Points by Sheraton hotel. The restaurant was not overly crowded, but the bar was lively with most seats occupied when we arrived. Upon being seated in a comfortable booth, we decided against appetizers only due to the food coma coming out of Christmas, but did order entrees off their daily menu. I had the swordfish which was advertised as a chef’s specialty. The portion size was perfect and the fish expertly grilled and flaky served on a roasted pumpkin purée that surprisingly complimented the dish without overpowering it. The parmesan encrusted chicken was nicely presented and accompanied by parmesan and herb risotto and roasted baby vegetables in season which were served al dente. Both dishes satisfied our appetites and didn’t leave room for dessert on this night. Our waitress was professional, knowledgeable of the menu and wine list, and courteous which added to our pleasant night out. We will certainly be back soon.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. I have been here twice for my company’s holiday lunch. Each time everyone has been happy with their meal and impressed with the service. The restaurant is very clean and the décor is nice. The kitchen is open which is kind of cool… seeing the chefs at work. The menu has a good variety to fit everyone’s tastes. The flat bread pizzas are good. I ordered the tomato, mozzarella and arugula salad which was very good. Definitely worth stopping by if you live on the South Shore or are in the area.
