Dante’s Three Hair Studio

I’ve gone to Dante’s Three since I was a little kid. Moved away for college and grad school, tried many trendy hair salons in Boston and other places, and still occasionally come back to Dante’s Three when I’m in town and just looking for a high quality haircut. You know, the kind that still looks good when it’s growing out? When the stylist is so experienced she can do it in half the time of other stylists? No matter what I asked for (a short pixie style cut, shoulder length layers or long layers) it always looked great that day and for weeks afterwards. Sometimes there’s no place like home.

What a great shop. I had a great experience at Dante’s. I would highly recommend anyone to use them. The prices are reasonable and the gossip is second to none!
Any of the girls are great. Maria, Lisa and Diane are all sisters (the three daughters of Dante, get it?) with Maria being the Matriarch of the family and Michelle is the unofficial sister.
Men are just as welcome as women and kids are always treated with care.
Do yourself a favor and make an appointment at Dante’s.

This is mine and my family’s favorite hair salon. They are very cheap considering the prices that are out there these days. I recently had an experience where my roots weren’t fully, :ahem: colored. I made a quick and painless phone call to the owner and she let me choose when I wanted to come back in to have it fixed for free! They barely profit from the products they sell, so they are also, pretty cheap! Even when my color wasn’t 110% to my liking, my hair cut was still phenomenal. All of the employees are very friendly and include you in all conversation– so you’re not caught in any of that awkward hair salon jibber-​jabber like most of us with long color treated hair usually go through. I’ve had the best luck with Lisa, so request her! If you’re in the area or new to the area and searching aimlessly for that perfect hair salon, Dante’s 3 is definitely the choice you should make.
