I received the WORST manicure I’ve ever gotten in my life here this past Sunday (10÷11÷15). The woman was friendly, however, rushed through painting my nails that it looks like a 3 year old did it. Needless to say I won’t be back there — but I’ll be going to another salon to get a color change to fix her poor work. My nails are embarrassing me at work, and are an embarrassing product from this salon. The environment of this salon is poor quality, as well.

My mom has been going here for over 20 years so naturally I do too. Super friendly, do a nice job, and are very inexpensive! Always remember you too which is nice! I’ve gotten manis, gels, pedis, and acrylics. No tips on credit cards like most places.

I picked this place randomly from Unilocal.Stopped in with my Mom for a pedicure for Mother’s Day. The price was just right ($ 23 — pedi). The staff was very nice and professional. I will def stop back if I’m back in the area.
They accept charge cards but cash only tips… fyi.

Horrible service. Went in for a fill asked that she do half my white black at an angle, didn’t listen to my request, when I showed her how I wanted it she disregarded it and said «well just do pink and white» which is not what I wanted. Also the fill was rush and looks bad, you can see under it where it was growing out. If you can’t do designs don’t say you can (it wasn’t even a design btw). Never going back I’ll stick to the nail salons in boston. You can see particles of god knows what under the clear polish, got it done yesterday going to Lisa’s nails to fix it right now.

I don’t know why this place doesn’t have better reviews, everyone was nice, the lady who was doing my nails was really funny and did a great job on my nails! And this place is reasonably priced, so overall my book it’s a great place!

California Nails is a great place to get your nails done. It’s not expensive — or too fancy — but the staff is super nice and friendly. I’ve been going here on and off for a decade since moving to town. I’ve tried other local nail salons (and there are many) but keep coming back to California Nails because they do a good job and are always cheerful. I bring my 9-​year-​old daughter here once in a while as a treat and they are wonderful with her. Call ahead if you can.

This place is absolutely digsuting. i went there 2 times and both times me and my mother had appointments. first time was ok, the massage was all but 2 mins… second time we came my mom came 5 minutes late and she called to let tha nail tech know and the owner gave a big attitude and told my mother that she needed ot come back 5 hours later. this place is so rude!

I snuck here from work today on lunch break. It was my first time here. The place itself needs some renovations, and it was a little strange that two of the technicians were napping at their stations, but I was very happy with my manicure and with the price ($ 10). Jennifer did a really nice job, and I would definitely go back to her.

I visit family in the area and this was recommended to me by my sister in law. They answered the phone at 8am on the morning after Thanksgiving and I was there at 9. Nice big place, clean, very friendly.
Most importantly Kim did a fantastic job on my nails. She spent over 20 minutes meticulously working on my messy cuticles, then did a careful and thorough job on a 5 part shellac process. I dont think I’ve ever had anyone pay so much attention to my nails.
Not a fancy spa but I’ll work California Nails into all my future visits to the area.

Went there once… really cheap, so I thought I’d give it a try
The staff were really nice… but they did a HORRIBLE job. My nails chipped that very day, and I hadn’t even touched them. Go to Blossom Nails (which is a couple of doors down). EXCELLENT service there.

Horrible nail salon. Went to get my toes done and they spent all of three minutes on them. One toe wasn’t completely polished and some had air bubbles. Also, she made me walk across the dirty carpet to the dryers and dumped my flip flops on the floor next to me. Not friendly.

The girls at California Nails are great! I always get a great job done from Lisa or Kim. This is not a POSH salon — it’s big though and you can always get an appointment quick!!!

This place was convenient for me — although I live in Boston, I was in Norwood visiting my boyfriend and I definitely needed a fill. I got them done here, with a French Manicure, and they did a good job. I’ll definitely be back there again if I get my nails done in Norwood.
The place isn’t the cleanest, but their tools are clean, the workers are friendly, and they paid very good attention to detail.

California Nails is clean and quick. They do an amazing job on absolutely everything. It is a friendly environment and reasonably priced. They stay true to their appointments and did I mention they go a fantastic job? California Nails is definitely worth the trip if you are in the South West side of the Greater Boston area.
