I have previously been to this salon and had a bad experience. HOWEVER, it is now under NEWMANAGEMENT. I received a gift certificate for Christmas, so my mom and I made an appt for a cut/style for me and a glaze treatment for my mom. I was nervous because I couldn’t find any reviews for my stylist, so I figured I would write one. Jessica Lach is AWESOME! She has been a stylist for 20 years, and she is up to date on techniques, cuts, color, treatments, etc… She gave me the exact hair cut I wanted, and my mom’s(chemically straightened) hair looked gorgeous! Jessica took her time giving us meticulous service. My mom and I are the toughest critics out there, so for us to both walk out happy is nothing short of a miracle. I’m a people watcher by nature, so I was taking in the other happenings in the salon as well. I noticed the other stylist(also named Jessica) gave two amazing cuts/color while I was there; she does beautiful work on loyal clients. The whole staff is independent but they all seemed to work well together concerning walk in appts and supportive of one another in general. I’ve been to some real catty places, so the no-tension deal felt pretty nice. There’s also two massage therapists upstairs, and I saw two clients leave happy. The waiting area is cozy, very clean, and has really comfy chairs. The only reason I didn’t give a 5th star is walk-ins are«welcome», but I saw people get turned away or have a long wait. It’s not even a guarantee the salon will be open at all, as all stylists are independent and make their own hours. I strongly suggest calling ahead and making an appt so you’re not disappointed. There is also no social media site for the current status of the salon, so I couldn’t find any reviews or portfolios online, which made me uneasy going in. Girls like to do their homework when it comes to our hair!!! Other than that, I had a fantastic experience with my mom, and I will definitely go back to Jessica Lach. Her number is 860−576−4192.
