After reading the review about the bad experience the previous customer had I felt it necessary to share my experience. I have been going to D&D Dry Cleaners for a # of years now. I find the staff to be very professional and Richard seem to remember my name even when I have not been there in some time. They offer to pick up and drop off laundry and to be honest I am not sure they charge extra for this service. I enjoy doing business with them and would hope one bad experience does not tarnish a great reputation.

I visited their norwichtown location and was never treat so rudely in my life. The blond middle aged women with glasses(that was working the counter) had such arrogance… such a chip on her shoulder and was so unprofessional I almost didn’t come back for my clothes. What’s worse … when I went back her attitude hadn’t changed. So much for thinking about writing off the 1st experience as someone who just had a bad day. She was HORRIBLE. I told my wife as we were driving away I will NEVER go back there again especially when she noticed that my green suit turned into a lighter shade of brown. BEWARE not only is the customer service bad but after looking at how my suit color had changed I was beyond pissed. I’ll never go back there again. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — Update: Pleasant surprise. Richard the owner called me to talk about the awfull experience I had at his business. Nice guy, concerned about his business and reputation, made the effort to reach out to me… Offered $ 10 credit on my next visit. You’ve got to give him an A for effort. Ultimatly it was the person at the counter that ruined it for me and not him. But I’m still hard pressed to go back. I guess the negative experience still weighs on me more then the $ 10 credit.
