The food here is great, the service is quick, and the ambiance is nice. My only complaint is that the food is a bit pricy considering the portions are not that big.

Ate on a Friday evening. Almost every table was taken but the sound level was not too bad. The service was timely, we were given time to finish our salad, then our entire and then the desert. Salad with the meal was nice. The Scallops and linguini was pronounced by my wife to be excellent. The Chicken piccata was tasty. We had rum raisin ice cream which disappointed somewhat but the pecan tart and Napoleon that we took with us were incredible. In their defense, we were advised by the server to get the coconut ice cream. We had a great time and will return. Prices were reasonable.

Recommend? Oh yeah! Delicious, fresh creative food. Clean, comfortable dining room – eclectically decorated and good wait staff. Micro Beers on tap. Coffee – served with a small pitcher of cream – not that awful ½ and ½ in plastic cups.

Had dinner there last night, first restaurant I’ve been to that actually had green tea, that was a plus. We ordered soup very tasty and well seasoned, 2 appetizers coconut shrimp and calamari, which were cooked to perfection. And for the main course we had scallops & lobster with asparagus with a light cream sauce served in a pastry roll very tasty. And for dessert we had red velvet cake. Atmosphere was ok, restaurant a little chilly. Would recommend to anyone. Food fresh and well prepared.

This place is amazing! After having a bad breakfast my family really was counting on a good dinner. We sat down and immediately were taken care of. The menu has a lot of variety and everything is local, which is a big plus. The atmosphere is relaxing and very beautiful, and the music was great too. I ordered a French soda, the glass was very cool and the soda was very fizzy. My parents both got beers, and they showed up at the table almost instantly. To start off my father ordered the pork verde soup, and my mom got the butternut squash soup with beat. They came in coffee cups, which was cute, and tasted very fresh. I could eat that pork soup for the rest of my life and be content. Both soups were gone and the cups licked clean. Next we were served some bread with roasted tomatoes inside, and that was delicious. After talking for a while the salad showed up. Even the salad was extremely good, I ordered soy ginger on mine, and it was perfect. The time passed nicely and we got our food. It took a while, because everything is made to order, but it didn’t feel like very long. I ordered the herbed turkey burger with French fries. It was very well seasoned and not dry at all, my bun was nice and crispy. The French fries were fresh cut and well seasoned as well. My mom ordered mozzarella pasta with shrimp and she finished the entire plate. My dad ordered the Korean stir fry dish and said it was comparable to some he had in a Korean restaurant in San Francisco. The entire meal was only $ 88.00, and was well worth it. This place is quiet and very relaxing. The food is extremely fresh and very good. If you’re in Norwich go here!

Appetizer — Fried green tomatoes were tasty and not too oily. Turkey burger and Asian slaw and Beef burger were cooked perfectly and the onion rings were the best. Also, Omegang — henepin on tap made for a great meal. Nice place to stop by in Norwich, New York.

The Moon is a fabulous restaurant. Love all of the fresh ingredients and varied menu items. From the best hummus and guacamole anywhere to the delicious Ahi tuna, homemade soups, great dinner selections and amazing homemade ice cream and baked goods, you have to travel far to equal the quality of food at the Moon.

Warm atmosphere, wholesome food. I would recommend this place to anyone. I had the eggplant, zucchini and mozzerella quesadilla. Kim had the Buffalo chicken wrap. Cappuccino to end the meal.

Amazing!!! Love the atmosphere, staff is great, and food is delicious! I was really very pleased with everything. My Dad and I sat at the bar and had two delicious meals, an app and great wine. Wish this restaurant was in Boston… but I will be back next year on my annual visit to Norwich. :-)

Really good food, nice ambiance, and ommegang on tap! Definitely several steps up from what you can otherwise find in Norwich. People who say it is too expensive… even by Norwich standards that is not true. I have personally been to Norwich restaurants at the same price tier as Bohemian Moon and Bohemian is far superior in quality and experience.

the atmosphere is nice, i like the music, i wished they had a full bar because i like a martini before my meal. i think the prices are way to high for the quality and variety of the food. too many fried apetizers. Not sure how fresh the food is since they are only open certain nights of the week. the last time i went there i got sick on lenguini and clams pasta, the food had no flavor, TOOEXPENSIVEANDNOTQUALITY!

I call B.S. This place is Horrible! I’ve eaten here twice. The first time was for lunch. I had a turkey sandwich. It was mediocre at best. The Turkey and Bread was very dry. Which is unfortunate because the quality of the ingredients where good. The second time was just recently for a dinner party. The occasion was my friends 31st birthday. It stated off well enough with all of us getting our drinks. Beer and wine,(as I might mention it is not a full bar) Which as a little disappointing seems I prefer a good scotch on the rocks. Anywho, after a pretty long wait about half an hour. Which I don’t mind waiting to order when we have a dinner party of 8. At this point your just looking forward to having a good meal at least. After ordering, our salads came out and when I say salad I mean 9 pieces of mixed greens(I counted) and half of a cherry tomato. Not joking, the«salad» everyone got was about two bites apiece. When it first arrived we all looked at each other in disbelief! This was at which point I turned to my friend sitting next to me and proceeded to tell him about my unfavorable experience I had here in the past. Oh, but it didn’t top his experience though! He had been there for dinner with his parents before. He had ordered the Filet. When it arrived it was over cooked and was cut… A F%$%ing CUTINIT! Are you kidding me! Mind you it cost $ 26.(I will gladly pay for a good steak!) If you don’t know, it is an extreme. forbidden taboo. Never, never cut into a steak while it’s cooking. Well, that evening he thought he would let by gones be by gones and ordered it again, along with another friend of ours. Well, well, well… Never the less it happened again. Both of their steaks where cut into! OMFG… If they’re going to charge that much for a steak they need to hire someone with enough experience that can cook a steak properly!(That goes this out saying) Well, that night I ordered the pork chops with a side of brussel sprouts. The pork chop was dry and the brussels where over cooked. arrrgh! And I love brussel sprouts! All & all. This restaurant is trying to be too fancy for their own pants. I fear their down fall is a many a down fall of local restaurants. It’s hard to be able to afford to hire the experienced help that is needed to run a good restaurant of the caliber that the Bohemian Moon is going for. Just because some Hipster came up with a catchy name for a restaurant does mean that it’s going to live up to the«coolness» of it’s name sake. Besides, I don’t eat names. Oh, yeah. When I ask to talk to the cook, our waitress had no idea how to handle the situation. Mind you she said she has be working there for 5 years so it wasn’t because she was new. I do not mind paying good money for great food. I am by far not a cheepskate! However, don’t give an over cooked«turd sandwich» and tell me & charge me for Foie Gras! The reality is, I’d have no room to really complain if their quality reflected their prices. Or if they drastically reduced their menu prices. I digress.

I really loved the feel of this place. It’s like a great big giant kitchen, lots of cool pictures and tables and just an overall homey, warm feel. And the menu is stellar — got the burger, which was really terrific, so fresh. And ommegang on tap of course. The Caesar salad was very good as well — best homemade croutons i’ve ever had, no joke. If i lived in this town, i’d be here 3 times a week. There was a band too, and it rocked.
