Great food, service and atmosphere. We found this gem on the way home from a trip to NYC. We were both so pleased with everything. It’s close to but a far cry from the neighboring casino restaurants. Five stars from me!

If I could give 0 stars for this restaurant I would. My friends and I made reservations here for NYE based on reviews & photos. I understand having a limited menu for the holiday and needing extra tables and folding chairs. My problem was with the horrid service, and the dinner taking 2HOURS! We did not plan on being at dinner for 2 solid hours from start to finish. We didn’t even have the coffee or dessert(which we were billed for). The food: Where do I start? The apps were good, but small. The salad we were given took 25 minutes to come out after apps and were actually thrown onto the places. None of our plates had the same amount, or looked liked similar. Baby handfuls thrown on to a bag dumped on another… The lettuce was sitting in the dressing for a while because it was luke warm and saturated. Then we had to wait another half hour for our meals. I think they were actually frozen and microwaved, if even microwaved. Our food was cold, and the«scampi» was vegetables with 2 pieces of shrimp. No sauce. Then after getting stomach aches from eating the few bites we did, we tracked down every server & hostess trying to get our bill so we could leave. THAT took 20 minutes! Whatever you do… do not go here.

We were looking for a different restaurant to try in the Casino area. We are so tired of the plain overpriced meals at the casinos. Belle Fiore was lovely. Tables were set with white tablecloths and lovely china and glassware and there was a waterfall in the background. We got there as soon as it opened and had the place to ourselves. The service was great and the food was wonderful. We had the dinner which included the dessert too. The choice was cannoli or tiramisu. I had the cannoli and it was very good. It was a Thursday night and they give half off most of their wine bottles on Thursday. We will definitely be back again. It was literally 6 minutes from Mohegan Sun Casino. What a find.(also I saw in some other reviews that they felt it was a place left in time.- Yes and it was a great time — when people dressed up and observed an elegant ambiance. Is it the finest restaurant you can go to — no but it is lovely just the same.)

Wanted to have a nice Italian dinner out, and boy did we find a hidden gem! More dressy than we thought, but it was a beautiful restaurant. It’s attached to he evil olive perfect for drinks after dinner. I ordered the shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and it was amazing. The bread was fresh and everyone I was with thoroughly enjoy the meal. Topped off with a cannoli and the night was perfect

The décor was a bit outdated but the waitstaff was courteous and pleasant. They had a great selection of wines as well. The chicken Parmesan was good, although nothing spectacular. For the price, I would have expected a little more.

Wow! Can’t believe how misleading the other reviews are on here! The ambiance and waitstaff were the only good things about this place. I was so impressed with the nice table settings and was very excited to try the food! However, that feeling changed quickly when our dishes came out. I will say the bread was good. The Caesar salad was absolutely tasteless, drenched in a dressing that had NO flavor! I went with two other people, I had the chicken parmigiana. Which again was absolutely tasteless. I make a better sauce at home, and there was hardly ANY pasta covered up by a huuuuge piece of what seemed like frozen breaded chicken. Ugh. So disappointing. The other people I was with had the lobster ravioli and shrimp alfredo. Again, tasteless mush. You could buy canned sauces at the grocery store that taste better than this place and its A LOT less expensive. Really too bad, it’s a beautiful place! Such disappointing food.

I have been here many times for business as well as date night. The staff and the food are outstanding. We have had several events catered here and will continue to in the future.

So we decided to stop somewhere on our way to see a show at Mohegan. I’d much rather spend my money at a local business than at the casino. So we stopped at Bella Fiore, because the father-in-law read some solid Unilocal reviews. So this was not a place for me. It seemed like a restaurant that was left in time. Upon entering the dining room was dominated, by a waterfall wall. Kind of made me think of Rainforest Café; even though we sat on the other side of the room the sound of running water dominated dinner. I really enjoyed the murals though that were painted on the walls throughout the dining room. We sat four people in a corner booth, they were kind of awkwardly shaped. They weren’t rounded and just made for strange lines of communication with dinner mates. Another aesthetic issue I had was the size of the menu, they were like the bible packed with a ton of dining options. However after you figured out what you were ordering you couldn’t set them down on the table without fearing they would cause it to collapse. Food was all pretty standard. We started with a house appetizer bruschetta. No one had anything to rave about. I did appreciate the small bites options on some of the meals. Since I knew we were going out for the night I didn’t want to have any leftover so the SB option was great. Plus with the amount of bread we ate I knew my wife would not eat a whole pasta dish. Interesting place to spend our money locally, but nothing to draw me back on another Mohegan trip.

Hidden Gem. Loved this place. Food was GREAT. Customer service was even better. Loved everything about it. Would definitely go again. The bread you get first is the best ever.

Heading to Mohegan for a concert and not wanting to deal with the restaurant crowds– very pleasant meal at Bella Fiore. Food was terrific and ambiance really neat. Only disappointment was that they were out of the wine we selected. Wait staff should know what is not available or take it off the menu please. Veal was marvelous, salmon cooked to perfection. As another reviewer said– a gem!

Liked the ambiance(other than the strange«on hold» music). The food was okay and might warrant a return trip. I like the option of a small plate instead of the full plate. However, it is criminal that the small plate of salmon is a meager three bites. It was laughable, we couldn’t believe they had the audacity to serve such a tiny portion. At first we thought the rest was under the vegetables. Ha, no. $ 16 for a 3-inch by 1-inch piece of salmon is obscene. Buyer beware. At the very least, ask how much food you’re getting in your order. And when you ask for double vegetables and you don’t get them, ask them, «Why not?»

What an unexpected gem! I was staying at the Norwich Inn and figured I’d venture out. The food was incredible. The service was great and the ambiance was romantic. The price was very reasonable and the food was incredible. I will be back next time I am in town. Definitely add this to your list.

I have been eating at Bella Fiore for many years and have never been disappointed! The food is always very good and they offer a wide variety of choices. I usually get the appetizer special of the day, usually followed by the Caesar Salad for two. If the special entrée sounds good, I usually go with one of those. If not, I usually select one of the many chicken dishes. On other occasions I have gone with veal or steak. I don’t usually have dessert but they have a great selection — the strawberries that are prepared at your table is a good choice. Bottles of wine are half-price on Thursdays! They start you off with a relish tray and warm bread. The décor is excellent, with a waterfall in the background. It is always quiet with quiet music in the background. If you are near the Mohegan Sun, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
