The worst place in CT. I’m updating my last review because I meant to give it 1 star only.

Just ate dinner and really enjoyed our food. The Rueben and Sweet Potato Fries were great. The chocolate decadent cake was just that, decadent. Zintell was our waitress and was friendly and provided good service.
I’m not from the area but will encourage my family to check them out.

Tried today for the first time. Great service, nice atmosphere, and the food was good. I had penne and meatballs. Meatballs were definitely homemade. Had some fries as well which were very good. I get tired of the same old stuff in the Norwich area, so this was a nice surprise. Will definitely go back.

I was excited to see a new bar/​restaurant open. Figure I would give them a try. Walked in looked like a really great place. Staff seemed super friendly. I waited at the hostess area for a couple of minutes. Of course servers and bar tenders looked at me. Finally someone came I asked if I could place an order to go. She said she would get someone with me. After waiting for a few minutes I went to the bar to place an order. Ordered stuffed mushrooms (really good!) bbq burgers and the California burger. Burgers really weren’t that good. I ordered my burger medium well no pink. The burger was pink and cold inside. The bacon and guacamole was tasty. My boyfriend wasn’t impressed with his bbq burger. The fries were really good. Like I said in the beginning the staff was friendly but they were only friendly to the regulars or people they knew.
Not really impressed. I’ll stick to what I know, and it won’t be this place. I wish this place luck.

Saw this while at Stop & Shop and went in on a whim since it had good reviews. Very pleased, nice new décor so first impression was very favorable. The bar area looked nice and is separated from the dining area.
Started with the french onion soup. Quite good, not too salty and not overly sweet.
We each had a burger, one with Monterey Jack cheese and sweet potato fries, the other with cheddar and onion rings. Both were cooked correctly and obvious they were fresh hand formed patties. Nice toasted bun with fresh lettuce and tomatoes.
Our waitress Michelle was very pleasant and attentive.
We’ll definitely return to try some of the other menu items like the Reuben or chicken pot pie.

My boyfriend and I came here after getting a recommendation from my parents. They had a good experience other than the price but we did not. We walked in and there was a family already waiting with the hostess nowhere in sight. We all stood there for a good two minutes before anyone came out, but got lots of looks from wait staff and bartender. There were no tables in the dining area so we got seated at a high top in the bar area which seemed to be a good sign but no. We ordered nachos which were something I could make better in my microwave. Some of the cheese wasn’t even melted, lukewarm even. The sour cream and salsa came in small side cups which wasn’t enough for the dish, maybe it should be offered either on the side of on top? He got the clam chowder which tasted more like potatoes to me than anything. We both got the Reuben sandwich which was actually delicious, messy and not very well put together but tasty other than the extra fat but not many complaints. I loved the fries, they were perfect but I did spit the sweet potato fries out in my napkin cause they were awful. While eating the hostess who may have been the owner or manager, we weren’t sure made two drinks behind the bar for herself one after another and sat to drink the second. We found this kind of off putting and unprofessional. Everyone was running around like it was crazy busy but other than the dining area there weren’t many people in there and even that area cleared out quickly. Forget having a laid back dinner at this place cause they boast about having things prepared for the busy rush that just ended, I must have missed it. Our waitress was great, everything came out fairly fast but we were ready to go pretty early. I don’t think I can convince my boyfriend to go back for dinner but maybe for lunch sometime.

My boyfriend and I came here on New Year’s Eve. We didn’t know what to expect but our experience was amazing. There is a bar area and a dining area. It feels super clean and new and all staff were very welcoming. Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and my boyfriend got a hamburger. We had the perfect New Year’s Eve experience here. There is a live band on Saturdays and the man there when we went was great! He also came to our table to make sure the music wasn’t too loud.
This is definitely a place to try.

Great people, cozy atmosphere. Nice neighborhood bar feel. I stopped in on a whim but was pleasantly surprised at the selection of whiskey. Had a simple bowl of chili smothered in cheese and a side of fries = perfect comfort food on a rainy night. Thanks, Mike, the consummate bartender!

Had the baked stuff fish, delicious! The green beans were ymmy. The liver & onions were cooked perfectly. Reasonable prices, great service! This is a restaurant I will come back to.

Went for Friday night dinner. Crowded but we were able to get a table in the bar. We had a lobster roll and the California burger. Both were very good. My husband really liked the sweet potato fries. Very friendly service.

This was my 2^nd time coming in for lunch. Wasn’t all that happy with it the 1^st time so I figured I’d give them another shot. Came in around noon. Sat at the bar. Ordered a beer, chowder and a bacon cheese burger medium rare with fries. Chowder was good. Nice and hot the way it should be. My burger and fries came out in a timely manner. 1^st thing I notice is no bacon. Then as I cut into the burger. It was cooks maybe medium. I called the bar maid over and said think they forgot the bacon. She rushed it into the kitchen and had bacon placed in it. That’ll work. I started to eat it and thought to myself this isn’t really any good. Tasted very dry. So thinking it was the bun I removed it. And for me it wasn’t the bun. It made me remember the issue the 1^st time I was here. Burger want very good. A small restaurant/​bar needs a good burger. This area it’s located in needs a good restaurant /​bar. Not sure this place has what it needs to last. A good place to have a drink. But that’s it. Maybe in a few weeks I’ll try something else

Went with a group of 10 for lunch on a Thursday — waitress was excellent, food was prepared quickly, everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I had the Reuben and the meat was tender and lean. Fries are made in-​house — everything is homemade. Will go back to try other entrees and sandwiches.

Awesome fish and chips! Prices aren’t bad especially for the quality of food and portion size. Servers and bartender were very attentive. Owner was in there having a beer too really nice guy. Oh and they have Sunday Ticket only bad part is five tvs so get there early to get a spot with your team. My wife and I will definitely come back again.

Very nice addition to the metropolis of Norwichtown. They also do military discount. Clean and new. Food came out quick and fresh. Service was outstanding. The fish and chips were pretty good and the chicken Caesar salad was a nice size. Nothing crazy food wise but a nice place to eat. Coleslaw was not as fresh as everything else but will definitely be back.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! The menu is not the most creative, but if you want solid American food in a non-​divey atmosphere, head here for sure! I enjoyed my French dip sandwich and my husband enjoyed his fried onions and mushroom burger. Support your local businesses :)

Our second time here. This time with a group. Everyone’s meal was fantastic. Portions were huge. Two had the fish and chips. One had surf and turf. Another had the fried clams. And another had the prime rib while I had the patty melt. Several took leftovers home. Service was excellent and prices reasonable. We will be coming back.

Excellent choice of drinks from the bar. Very friendly & attentive staff. We went when they first opened and the fish & chips were excellent. We’ll be back for sure!

So good! Definitely one of the better restaurants in Norwich, thank goodnes! I had the French dip which was perfect, the roast beef was nice and tender and came with French fries. My boyfriend got the bacon bbq burger with beer battered onion rings inside, and fries Tons of bottle beer selections and about ⁷⁄₈ on tap. The service was fantastic, super friendly and helpful. If you live in the Norwich area and want some good quality sit down food stop by!

Just had the best experience at this place! We had an order of onion rings to start. Onions were tender on the inside and the batter was crispy. I had the burger with guacamole and bacon and my husband had a bacon burger, both ordered medium. Husband’s was a little overdone, mine was perfect. I’m giving five stars because Gina at the bar was amazing. Personable, helpful and welcoming. There were two other couples dining at the bar when we were, and everyone had nothing but good reviews of what they had ordered. Very friendly atmosphere, great food. Highly recommend! So happy to have two above average places to eat and have drinks in Norwich… finally! This spot and the brewery downtown are definite stand outs.
