Hollywood Nails

I was happy to walk in here on a Wednesday morning and be taken immediately for a mani-​pedi. Spotlessly clean inside, bright with windows all around and attentive nail techs. When I laughed at my slow moving and said I needed a second to bend my knee to swing into the pedicure chair, they were nothing but careful, telling me to take my time and making sure I was comfortable and relaxed. I’m super picky about nail salons with cleanliness at the top of my must-​have list and I was not disappointed here. Also, plenty of room at the very new pedicure chairs for coffee and purse, also a big point for me.
Spa pedicure — I love a hot rock massage and this didn’t disappoint in the least. Scrubbed and pumiced, hot towels, hot rocks, lots of herbal scented moisturizer for my winter-​dry skin and my nails skillfully trimmed and cleaned. The manicure was a regular mani, also carefully trimming nails and moisturizing dry skin until it was soft. I mentioned that my nails were breaking because I’d used a nail hardener and didn’t remove it within a few days and my nails were dry, breaking and peeling. The tech took it on herself to find a hardening base coat to apply.
I do agree with another reviewer that the polish selection may not be the biggest I’ve seen, but I found a shade I liked easily enough. I noticed a waxing area that looked spotless as well.

I was looking for a new place for mani-​pedis and I gave it a try this week. I love the fresh, clean, and bright atmosphere. The massage chairs are a lot newer than the place I normally go to. I loved the fact that their sterilizing of tools could be seen if you looked around.
Two of the women were very friendly — one of them was named Amy. The woman that did my mani-​pedi barely smiled and I doubt she spoke any English at all, but she talked so little it was hard to tell. She had short thinning hair and glasses in case you want to look for her.
They need more OPI gel color options — as do all of the places I have been to. I do not know why they don’t invest in a product that all of us are looking for — I prefer OPI products always.
I will not go back for a pedicure because I do a better job of sloughing my feet than she did. I go barefoot ²⁴⁄₇ and I need sloughing! She took this soft little pad and rubbed it over my feet — not enough for me. I like them to use a microplane on my feet.
They also need better hand cream and massaging. I do not like cheap, scented hand cream — use Aveeno or something quality like that. The hand massage and foot massage were very, very short. It is the fastest pedicure I have ever had — not a good sign.
If you have great feet and do not need a lot of sloughing then yes, it is a great place for you. The price — I paid 50 for a gel manicure and regular pedicure — that was a good price. I guess I wish the pedicure did more sloughing and more massage because the chairs are amazing and there is a very relaxing atmosphere.

Amy did a really nice job on my manicure and pedicure. Not only she did an excellent job, she was also fast and efficient! She was very friendly and personable, even though I asked a lot of questions as I am new to the area. She was open to questions and willing to share and always with smile! I definitely recommend her.

This nail salon is the BEST! They are a full-​service salon offering spa pedicures and manicures, waxing, massage and facial services. EXTREMELY CLEAN with brand new high-​end massage chairs.
All of the staff is very friendly and professional. Our whole family uses their services. A++

The staff is very friendly and always welcome walk-​ins. If you ever have to wait, it’s usually not for too long unless you’re going at naturally busy hour on a Saturday. It has a great variety of colors and services, and my manicures usually last for a decent amount of time. Most importantly, it is clean!
