Great thin crust pizza and very good wings. Delivery is usually prompt and when they are busy they warn you of delays.

Omg this pizza is amazing. Thin crust style like colony pizza. So many delicious options to get from their menu, and way more variety then the simple pizza. Only issue is they are small personal sized pizzas but very expensive for being thin crust. Lower the prices by 2 – 4 dollars a pie and then I would be happy getting more than one at a time

When I heard that a new kid in Norwalk was«duplicating» the Colony-experience I needed to test this theory. Riko’s Pizza originally opened in the same neighborhood as Colony and many claimed«foul.» But for me, it was less about the ownership of «The Recipe» and more about the product. Others agree, since Riko’s has expanded to a second location on Newfield and a third location on Main Street in Norwalk. After a couple of Riko’s pies I am glad they have a location near my office as well as nearer the house. Both offer the same quality pizza… delicious. Those from the Norwalk and the Newfield locations are twin sons of different ovens. The pies are baked in high rimmed pans, reminiscent of the Chicago deep dish pan. The dough is stretched to the circumference and then topped a little sauce, and then you design the rest from almost 30 different toppings(Colony has twelve to choose from). I consistently stay basic with pepperoni, sausage and hot oil, hey if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The thin crust was nicely crisped, not cracker and stilled maintained a degree of pliability. The sauce and cheese were delicious and the pepperoni and sausage were both excellent. Then the hot oil kicked in and this was an overall fantastic pie. Just make sure you have a ton of napkins since the pie is oily by itself and then adding the hot oil raises it to another level. If you do not want to make the trip Colony in Stamford(let’snot get into the Fairfield location), you will be just as happy with the pies at Rikos, just remember there is no seating so all of these pies are take-aways.

The pizza at this location is awesome, I don’t think we’ve ever gotten a bad one like others have stated in their reviews. However, the salads can be a bit of a different story — it’s a real hit or miss depending on the day(or cook?) you go. Usually they’re jam packed with all the awesome ingredients stated on the menu, but sometimes you might be searching for ‘em — along with the chicken being really overcooked. Riko’s is definitely deserving of a five star review, it’s just that their consistency is a little off when it comes to certain menu items. Four stars because when they’re good — they’re really good.

The pizza is great!!! Very thin crust and one size only. The salads are nothing special, just stick to ordering the pizza.

I love colony pizza, but I no longer live nearby and a friend told me about Riko so today I got a hot oil meatball pizza delivered. It was just like colony and it showed up at my door in under 45 min. It was awesome and I will order again soon. Thanks!

My favorite spot in the area for pizza takeout. Great prices and the pizza is fantastic. It’s thin crust with the perfect balance of cheese and sauce. My favorite is their buffalo chicken, but I also LOVE the hot oil. I really haven’t been disappointed with any flavors — the meatball is also delicious. The way the pizza is prepared is a lot like Colony. They only offer one size, which is on the smaller side and can make ordering with groups a bit difficult, but it’s a small price to pay for their excellent pizza!

The pizza is really good! Great prices and made fast! The sauce is fantastic, which can really make or break a pizza. The only thing I wish is that the pizza’s were a little bigger other than that I loved it! =)

Rikos. Sweet sweet Rikos. You are the love of my life. My boyfriend and I order from Rikos on average twice a month, and it would be a lot more, but we’ve been trying to curb our addiction to the pizza. The hot oil is our favourite. It is probably most people’s fav. This is the thin crust life blood that gives me a reason to wake up in the morning. You can order online, the deliver guy is always timely, it always tastes the same and it has never come burnt. Rikos is the best pizza this side of the Mississippi.

I discovered Riko’s after living in Stamford for several years and getting tired of the busy signals and lack of delivery at Colony. The pizza is every bit as good as Colony(despite what the haters are saying), and the crust is actually not as greasy which I now prefer. Its also nice that they have salads. The staff is very courteous and even on the busiest Friday pickup is not usually 25 min, and delivery has never taken more than 45 min. I have NEVER gotten a busy signal or been hung up on. I also like that they started a loyalty program so you get $ 10 off for every $ 100 you spend, which is nice if you’re like me and its you’re Friday go to.

I’ve gotten quite a few pizzas from here, and have never been disappointed. The absolute best pizza they have is a simple hot oil and sausage pizza, which is superb, and isn’t overwhelmingly spicy. Their buffalo chicken pizza is one of the best around. Also fully recommend Rico’s Favorite(ham, bacon & cheese) and Walter’s Favorite(pepperoni, cheese & basil) too. I’ve also had their wings, and they were good, especially for a pizza restaurant. Delivery is quick and efficient.

I’m updating my review because I feel that Riko’s has gone downhill since they first opened. The salads are just awful these days and the pizza, while not horrible, just doesn’t seem as good as it was when they had just opened. If you’re in the mood for the type of pizza you’d get at Colony then it’s a decent enough substitution if you can’t actually get to Colony(hence the three stars), but I strongly suggest avoiding the salads, they just seem to be much worse than the first couple times we ordered them.

great thin crust pizza and very nice owners and staff. they will do whatever you want to make you happy. I grew up in Stamford and loved colony(when they didn’t take their phone off the hook). don’t get me wrong colony is still good but I prefer Rikos.

This pizza is in a word — Terrible. Thin, soggy, and otherwise undefinable. They ought to be ashamed on themselves for charging what they charge for it. Not to mention that the Norwalk store front looks like a booky-joint — and their interaction with you is less than superb(the order taker offered the same degree of engagement you would expect from a DMV clerk). I ordered 2 pizzas on a Friday night and was told to come in 25 minutes. Personally I dont care how busy they are– it should take all of about 10 minutes to make that slop they delivered. Go up the road to Planet Pizza and see what quality pizza and service is all about.

Riko’s pizza is a popular pizza chain in Norwalk and the CT region. They serve thin crust pizza and the pies are small compared to average. I’ve had their vegetarian, pepperoni, and plain cheese pies. The cheese is nicely blended into the thin crust but there isn’t much sauce to be honest so overall, the pizza is a bit dry in my opinion. Nonetheless, it still tastes good and it’s very affordable. I’ve also had their salad which is fresh and a nice compliment to the pizza. Overall, the taste is better than the large delivery chains in my opinion which is why I prefer it over something like Domino’s.

This pizza has had a HUGE amount of hype in newspaper articles, etc mentioning how Riko’s has the secret of the Colony recipe, etc etc. As a long time enthusiast of great pizza, this falls SADLY short. I’m a fan of Colony and many other worthy pie places in CT and the only thing Riko’s has in common with Colony is the thin crust – the sauce, cheese, and prepartauion here at Riko’s are much much inferior. Not to mention, the Norwalk facility has a dirty floor and smells when you enter. I was So hoping this place would be better but it’s not. Another thing, because this pizza is so thin and they only offer take out – you will not bring a hot pizza home no matter where you live.

Got pizza and wings delivered to my hotel from here and was extremely disappointed. The pizza looked super crispy and thin in the pictures but in all actuality, it’s all soggy and falls apart because the toppings are too heavy for the crust or the crust is too flimsy for the toppings. I regret ordering from here when I could’ve ordered pizza from dominos or something. Wings were decent however. A bit too greasy for my liking but better than the pizza!

Almost as good as Colony. If you can’t make it there this is a good backup. Riko’s has several more toppings options which is great. Had the spicy sausage, stinger and mushroom pie. Yum. The Norwalk store is take out or delivery only. Cashier was friendly and the pie ready right when said it would be. They’re located in the strip mall near the Zero Degree hotel.

Good pizza, not as great as Colony. But the service makes up for it. We’ve ordered from here a few times and have found the pizza to be good but noticed toppings forgotten and unwanted(but still good) toppings added. Not a huge deal but when they’re charging $ 3 for two toppings and forget one or barely add it, it’s a pain. We called back since this was the third time our pizzas weren’t perfect and were forwarded to the manager. After a bit a wrangling Alejandra was super helpful, understanding and prompt with a generous resolution. An ice skating rink would open its doors in hell before I got this service at Colony. But back to the pizza. Sweet tomato sauce, stringier cheese on a slightly softer crust. Definitely hits the spot. Meatball topping is better here, sausage is better at Colony as well as the onion topping. I don’t find that this style of pizza travels particularly well so this location not having seating is a draw back.

Really glad they opened a location in Norwalk… and it’s one that delivers. Still a huge fan of Letizia’s(which is something entirely different) as well, but Riko’s is fabulous. In addition to the excellent quality extra thin crust personal pies with several toppings to choose from, the delivery service is also great(timely service & quality drivers).
