I’ve heard so many great things about this place, but I just don’t see the difference between a sandwich here and making one at home. My chicken avocado was dry and the sandwich wasn’t made well. I had an entire half an avocado on one half of my sandwich and none on the other. It was good, but I’d rather get a sandwich at a real deli.

Booooo Panera Came in at 10:28 looked at menu and was told I couldn’t order breakfast that ends at 10:30…REALLY?!? Too many other choices to opt for poor customer service…

It’s a chain we visit often. The staff here is great. They move through the line quickly and were amazingly helpful when my daughter had an accident in the parking lot.

A great place to do work and have a good, fresh meal. Their Ginger Peach tea is an obsession for me. Luz, one of the cashiers, is always a sunshine.

Skip it. 10am on a Sunday and out of oatmeal. Place was dead and it took 20 mins to get a sandwich.

Food very good. Would give it a 4 if they did a better job keeping the tables and dining areas cleaner

It’s a Panera. Nothing special. A few pretty good spots to sit though.

Only when I have a memorable experience will I review such a large chain. I have had multiple memorable experiences with this particular Panera Bread. This chain has been a staple for me for a quick, easy and cheap bite. Good, hearty salads and tasty soups. I have visited many Panera Breads in a variety of towns and even states. However, this has the friendliest and most helpful staff, not only in my Panera Bread dealings, but in probably any eatery dealing I’ve had!!! I have visited this location at all different times of the day and each visit is the same. All smiles, knowledge of the menu, suggestions, patience… the list goes on. The manager is just about the nicest guy I have ever met and there is no exaggeration there. I’ve literally walked into this place when they were about to lock the doors. Most managers would turn you away… not this guy. Not only did I feel welcome, but they made me feel as though they were happy I was there to be serving me. It was weird, but I loved it! Long story short — the food is typical Panera Bread, but the staff/manager are completely worth the stop.

I went there at lunch time. Very clean, and a lot of working people were having lunch there. Their food is always good. Service is always good too.

I’ve always loved Panera’s, and the Westport branch has been no exception. Always great food, a good atmosphere, etc. Tonight’s visit, though, was a special experience. My friends and I stopped by for dinner after a movie. Almost immediately after ordering, the power cut out! We weren’t sure what the deal was, considering the hurricane had come and gone, and most of Norwalk/Westport has power back. But instead of shutting down, or kicking us all out, the staff verified our orders and made the food they could without power. For those of us who had ordered Panini’s, they switched us over to Sandwiches for no charge. And everything tasted great! These guys can handle themselves under pressure, and it’s always tasty.

I hate chains, I hate bland corporate shitholes, but this place… just somehow won me over. Lots of space. Lots of outlets for electronics. Above average coffee. Edible food. Staff is annoyingly chirpy but not so much to be really grating… Also they pretty much stay out of your way if you want to laptop-camp there for a bit. I’m taking off a star for all the annoying crap that comes with a chain but… if you need somewhere to hang out, eat, get coffee and work for an hour or two — or have a meeting — it’s hard to think of a better, more comfortable place then here. Fills up like crazy for an hour or so during lunch, you’ll want to not be rude and avoid laptop-camping during those hours…

Good service and good atmosphere. Service was really quick in comparison to some other Paneras that I’ve visited. Parking can be tough in the front of the location, but I saw a sign that pointed to more parking behind the store.

I am surprised no one has reviewed this place. Yes it’s a chain, but a mighty good chain for panini’s, desserts or just hanging out. I love their Frontega Chicken and Green Iced Tea. The service at this particular location is consistently pleasant, and have even handed me over cookies to try as samples. It’s always quick, clean, and in my visits I have not found it to be crowded. It also helped that i lived across from it for two years, so often benefited when there was no food at home :-)
