They have a huge selection of tools and very fair prices. I got a belt sander thay was missing it’s sand bag so got a great deal. It’s obviously not flea market pricing but if you need a tool and can find it here prices are very reasonable

I went into this place to check out their guitar inventory. There were some young guys working that day, They were not helpful at all. When I asked to see one of the instruments they seemed like they didn’t want to leave their seat. No customer service at all. I know its a pawn shop, but it doesn’t kill to be a little friendly.

Nice folks, strong inventory of everything from guitars and jewelry to tools and electronics. Great deals, and they pay a ton for gold. Check them out!

Growing up, I don’t think I was a smart kid. My report cards looks good for Asian kid, but it seemed I had been sheltered by my parents in my younger years until I leaved the house. There is not much I can say that experience will taught me until I fall on my a*s, get back up, and remembered not to do it again. One day on the life of living alone for the first time, everything seemed normal until my TV went frizzled. The TV was busted and nothing will resurrected it from the dead. I didn’t have much at the time, part time job while going to school. The smart thing would be to ask your parents for money. Of course it didn’t dawned on me to think hard. My pride told me I can do this all by myself. So, instead of going to Circuit City and charged it on the credit card so my parents can pay for it. I walked several blocks to Radio Shack to get the TV on the cheap. No luck. They were overpriced and the cheapies cost the same if I go anywhere else. I know this because Best Buy has the same TV for less. So I went out and just decided to move on and live without TV for a month or until I can bring it up in our family dinner one of those days for money discussions. While stopping by at In-Out-Burger on Pioneer Blvd, there’s a little pawn shop with guitars on display. Knowing it’s a pawn shop, I figured it gotta be cheap! It’s probably used and somebody probably sold it for a few dollars. Boy, that brain of mine works great back then. Went in nonchalantly and looked around the place. There are so many jewelery and small accessory items. Probably from a lot desperate people. Of course I have the guts to ask if there’s any TV on Special sale. Why, yes of course! There is one for sale. A 16″ for $ 110. Not bad back then when I was 19 years old. Of course, I asked him to plugged it in to make sure it works. It did without any glitches. After negotiating down to $ 100 because there was no remote with this TV(boy I sure know how to bargain down on this thing), I have to figure a way to bring this TV back to my place. Now, I don’t have a car back then because the school was so close and I can walked there. So in essence, I have to find a way to chugged this heavy TV back to my place. All my pals are in class and I can’t really walked and carry this TV back. Aaah yes, what do you think this smart kid did? Yep… I took a shopping cart from a local market to get this TV back. It was a sight for people to see me pushing this shopping cart with a TV back to my place. I have to cross over Pioneer Blvd, a major intersection with red/green lights and you can see everybody in their cars either laughing or just wondering if the neighborhood’s property value just went down as a crime had just been committed. After all, the pawnshop did not have a box for this TV and everyone who saw me pushing the cart was just absolutely in disbelief. Was I embarrassed? Yeah I was… and laughing inside. The looks on everyone’s face is priceless as I am pushing this cart home with my big purchase of this TV. I told my friends and family about it… everyone can’t believed I actually went ahead and bought this from a pawn shop. Several friends ran a bet to see when the TV will break down. Most of them bet it will break in less than a month… one even bet it will last only 2 days. After more than 10 years, I still have this TV and it still works. All because I bought it from this dandy little place of a pawn shop. Yep, my momma raised a smart boy after all! — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - Personal footnote: LA Unilocal’s Review of the Day(9÷11÷06)
