Mimi’s Hair – Nail Spa and Massage

This was my 1^st time going here and the 3 ladies were really nice and very welcoming. They offered me coffee, tea or water and I was like wow… this has never happened to me at any other nail salons. I went and got a pedicure and man… what a good job. They asked if I wanted pedicure too… but i’m not big on them, but I may have to go back and get that done.

I’ve had a bad manicure experiences and This one… Worse experience EVER!
I called in advance to see I they have chance to get me a manicure. Just manicure (they always pedicure as well) any ways the person how answer the phone say Yes. So, I stop by and have to wait for like an 1 ½″ I just don’t leave. Cuz I really need the service and it was already 7:00pm (Most of the nail salons I know Close around that time) after the Long, long wait. They do a really bad job. Cuz of course she was in a hurry. After like 4 other ladies leave the place all upset. Even one of the employees left just because She wants to, leaving an unfinished work there. The lady was sitting still in the spa chair with a mess I completed job. Super Duper BAD Service. Instead of have a good «Me Time» was a really stressful experience. I learn my lesson and I’ll never ever come back here.

The signs say one price for hair cuts and they tell you another. Total bs. I came here because the price was a deal. What a rip off. I never met Mimi but if I did see her I would tell her the bs of her employees.

First time I am in the area for a conference and the conference was delayed for one day so I did not know what to do, thought I could have some quality time for myself. This place is a really nice one. Everything is just about right and I left with satisfaction. The place is clean and well organized. Techs are very skillful and easy to talk to. I had annoying and confusing requests but they lady was very patient and made sure everything I asked for was met. They use good quality products and beautiful colors so my nails look fantastic and I am so happy. Price is very reasonable. Can’t think of any excuse not coming here if you live in the area. Highly recommended !!!

My friend brought me here today and i really enjoyed my first experiences with them today. The place itself was well decorated and clean. The owner and staffs welcomed and treated us very well and that made me feel very happy while having my nails done. This nail salon had many professional technicians who really took their time on customers. I got Deluxe Pedicure for $ 27.99 which was a decent price for such a high quality products they used on me. The lady that took care of me was easy to communicate and went step by step to make sure i’m 100 satisfied. So love it!

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star! I wasted 15.00 on BS.
I should have followed my first mind and went to Tip o nails in L.A.
I walked in and the place is full of clutter, there were only 2 lady’s working and 3 people ahead of me. Finally I was sat in the run down spa chair with cold water to which I complained about 3 times, finally I said forget it.
After sitting there for 20 minutes finally a lady comes and pulls my feet out of the cold water and did the usual, now when it comes to my my two big toes I have acrylic on them… I was waiting on her to cut them down and file them, I had to ask her to cut them down. She never filed the acrylic down to smooth it out. Then paints my nails as if she doesn’t see these big humps on them because she didn’t file them down. By this time I’m really upset and in just ready to leave! She proceeds to put my shoe on and messes up the polish on the left toe, I told her and she tries to polish over what is messed up! REALLY?!
I told her the messed up polish needed to be taken off and re-​polished, I was so mad I didn’t even let her finish.
There is no way I’m ever going back to this place! I don’t know who gets manicure and pedi services here because clearly they have no idea on what they are doing.

I just got a hair «trim» from this place. I’ve been there many times before no problem. Well I will not go back. She asked me what I wanted. I told her a small trim in a shape of a V I got a hair cut with layer which I told her I did not want and 4 – 5 inches off my hair. It took me 2 – 3 years to grow my hair that long. I told her my hair was past my chest and she told me no it wasn’t like I was lying? I posted a picture under their business photos and you can clearly see my hair was past my chest. I can’t believe the way they treated me after. She knew I was unhappy. I told her it was too short. She didn’t care. I still had to pay for something I did not want. I wouldn’t go there for a hair trim if I were you. I wouldn’t give them a star but it made me choose.

Rude! Don’t waste time and money in this place. Nothing special about this shop… (there’s at least 20 nail shop in ever square mile) and yet they are the rudest people ever.

I got a good simple haircut at a great price. I was able to walk in and be seated in a chair right a way. They were friendly and efficient. They did push a pedicure, but I declined. The shop is close enough and parking is easy enough for me to return.

One of the worst pedicures I have ever gotten in my life, dirty utensils! The younger woman who did my nails seemed like she just wanted to rush through the entire process! Never again will I return. She just cut my nails to their shortest length –_​_​– I’m so disappointed I thought is try it out because it’s in my city but wow was I wrong! Please save your time & money & go to skilled professionals.

Cheap and run down but I’m loyal to the ladies that have been keeping my nails cute for almost a year now. They’re friendly but not overly talkative, which I like. Everything is affordable and basic which is really all I need. Plus, it’s in Norwalk so when I crave my hometown flavor I come here. Designs are limited but I appreciate their willingness to improvise and their desire to please. I always leave happy, and I’ll occasionally indulge in the sleeper talk shows that are perpetually airing on their televisions when I haven’t brought in a good read. This isn’t a luxury spot or a place to experiment with trends. It’s Hella hometown status but it’s just fine for a homegirl like me :)

The price may be right, but the service is horrible. Don’t like the fact that a razor was used to cut my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. I had told her to cut only an inch. She chopped off almost 4 inches and layered it! This was not what I wanted! And I had asked her to use scissors only! And the nail technician used a tool to clean my toe nails and she dug too deep and hard. Ended up with an infection. Had to go get antibiotics. They don’t use any kind of antiseptic product to clean their tools. No thank you! Never again!

This was a decent place, nothing spectacular. I walked in and I was seen right away. The only issue was there was a bee inside and none of the techs bothered to get rid of it. It was uncomfortable knowing that I might get stung while getting a pedicure!

First time here was not happy with service. I walked in to get a manicure and pedicure, 3 lady’s working, one comes to help me and starts on my manicure and stop twice to talk on phone. Second lady comes to start my pedicure and starts to remove my gel color. Another client walks in to get haircut so lady doing my manicure leaves to help that clients come back to tell me she’s going to do a haircut I told her it’s not ok I was there first so needs to finish working on me. Second lady goes to do haircut. Lady finish my manicure an hour lady and wants to start my pedicure I told her no I’m not going to be there for another hour so just paid for manicure the manicure cost $ 8 they charged me $ 11. For only 3 people working there they offer too many services nail salon, haircut, massage and tanning salon.

After being insulted into walking out of an appointment at Signature Nails at Cerritos Mall I was on a mission to find ANYWHERE that could give me a pedi and a full set of acrylics. I drove by omw home and pulled in. I walked in and 3 ladies are sitting in an empty shop on their phones. I asked «Can I get a full set and a pedicure?» They all lit up and told me to pick a color.
I sat in the spa pedi chair and 2 of the 3 ladies came over and went to work. Originally I was pissed because I wanted my specific lady at Signature because I like the way she does my acrylics. I was worried this set would come out wonky. $ 50 for a full set of acrylics with gel French tip and a pedicure. That’s including $ 5 tips for both ladies. Great prices and I was pleasantly surprised at the great job she did on my acrylics. Thin, square with rounded corners, not too big of a white tip. I might make this my new regular spot :)

It’s cheap. They open until 8pm. They offer a lot of different services. My massage chair didn’t massage. I was told over the phone for a mani/​pedi it would be $ 20, I do realize that french tip is a bit more, I then added callous remover which then all came out to $ 35 dollars. How the h@#! did it jump 15 dollars? I felt cheated. The ladies were rough and kept talking very loudly in Vietnamese. She then did my French tip and said «pretty huh?» but they were crooked. Some were thin, some where thick. I was really dissatisfied. She didn’t even massage or lotion my hands. I wouldn’t go back here.
