Delicious food! Found this place by accident and so glad we did! Pizza was thin and cooked perfect. We will definitely be back

i was in the area and craving pizza so I read the limited reviews on Unilocal and figured i would give it a try. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality. i took home 2 Chicken Parm sandwiches and a cheese pizza. The chicken was perfectly breaded, thick and juicy. The pizza was also done just right, cooked to perfection. I found a new place a little distance from my home but worth the trip.
I typically don’t write reviews but I was compelled to in this case. I had visited Lou’s based on the reviews of others and they were spot on. The staff was friendly and the pizza came out perfect! I had ordered the S.O.B but the owner(presumably) told me that the pizza would be spicy and that it was made w/Serrano peppers. I told him that I like spicy but maybe I’ll go with light Serrano … then he suggested cherry peppers which ended up being perfect! So instead of a S.O.B it was a C.O.B. I’ve posted a picture of the final product but boy was it tasty. When the reviews had stated that the staff was great, they weren’t kidding. I happened to wait in my car and got distracted to watch the time. The owner came out w/a pizza and ended up delivering it to me! How awesome is that! They have some great specials on the weekdays as well. I recommend trying this joint if you’re in the area.

As a longtime regular at nearby Letizia’s owned by Lou’s cousin Dennis, I have to say I was very impressed by Lou’s. Lou is on premises at all times and you can tell he is a dedicated lifelong pro. He makes his pies in a pan, like Grandpa Joe, the old fashioned way. Only 1 size. I have to say Lou is a living legend

Tried Lou’s for the first time yesterday and it is definitely one of the best pizzas in the area. I got a hot oil SOB pizza and the crust was perfect, it was thin but not cracker thin like some places. The ingredients were high quality and tasted great. Can’t go wrong with a pizza from here especially on Wednesday and Thursday when they have the 2 for $ 20 special.

I have to update my review to 5 stars based on how pleasant and accommodating they are. The food is always solid but the genuine local feel of this place is what makes them who they are. When you have that matched up with great food, it’s a no brainer for 5 stars!

First time trying a pizza here and it was excellent. I’ve had a hard time finding a pizza in Norwalk that I actually enjoy. I stopped going to Letizia’s years ago and recently went back only to remember why I had stopped getting pizza there — it was flavorless. This pizza at Lou’s was delicious and full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Even the edge of the crust was delicious — crisp but chewy and I ate it all. I will definitely go back.

Great neighborhood pizza joint. I look for one thing when searching for a go-to pizza place: Great pizza! This place has that. It is thin crust but not as thin as a Riko’s or Colony, which border on too thin(sometimes cracker-like). I had a buffalo chicken pie and a pepperoni and both were great. Very zesty buffalo which is often lacking at other pizza joints and I loved the large, thin pepperoni slices. If you’re in the mood for thin crust pizza, give Lou’s a whirl!

Great hidden gem! Agree this is a mix of coastal CT pizza styles. Tangy sauce. Great chewy crispy crust. Owner was very nice. Hope they stick around.

The pizza is okay. Got quick service, no smile from the owner. He wasn’t very accommodating. Won’t be back.

A hidden gem for CT style pizza. Thin and crispy crust, wonderfully tangy sauce and doesn’t skimp on the toppings. The staff is welcoming and friendly and they have exceptional weekday deals that will let you take home a cheese pizza for $ 7 on Monday and Tuesdays. Give them a shot you won’t be sorry. I especially recommend the onion, not usually my topping of choice but they use a sweet onion and when we get it I’m wrestling the kids for slices!

A new place with some Norwalk history. Did not expect an experianced pizza maker to be making the pies when I walked in here on a whim last week. Lou has been involved in the history of Norwalk pizza long long before it has been dominated by the Greeks of today. His new spot turns out tasty pies, almost a mix of Colony Grill, Letizias, and New Haven Style. Very good. These are not are not in the same strain as NYC pizza, but rather of the coastal CT style. Get the small pie, or get 2 small pies. At a place like this they are usually better than the Large ones.
