I would like to give 4 stars for the pan dulce. Absolutely love it here. As far as the tamales, not so tasty and the batch was undercooked. My first time buying tamales here was a bad experience, 9÷6÷13. I ordered one dozen chile con queso and one dozen pollo con chile verde. So it’s time to eat, or so I thought. I grab one tamale from each bag and to my surprise, they are both the green chili chicken tamale and one was undercooked! As soon as I unpeeled it, I could smell the raw masa. It’s a good thing I was not too far from this place because I called to let the girl know my tamales were the same in each bag, no harm done, but FYI on her part. She asked me to come back and exchange the tamales. Exchange them I did, for pan dulce. Sad to say, but I even told her«no tienen sabor y no estan buenos.» Sorry toots, but when you guys don’t simmer the chicken with the sauce you get crappy tasting tamales. They need to let the meat/chicken soak up the chili sauce. NEVERAGAINONTHETAMALES.
