I don’t understand why there isn’t ONE good pizza joint in Stamford — with NYC on one side and New Haven on the other. This crap tasted like a microwaved pizza. How hard is it to make a good pizza!!! It was MEH.

Ordered for the first time tonight and was absolutely disappointed, pizza was totally over cooked… Never again food of this quality belongs only in the garbage.

Terrific service. But unfortunately it’s nothing like the original used to be. Food made with care & quality ingredients though. Their calzones are massive & full of good things! Nice pizza but there is just too much competition in Fairfield & New Haven counties with amazing pizza. Nice dinner specials. Small intimate interior.

Ordered take out, they forgot my dressing, hostess dropped it off, turns out it wasn’t the dressing I ordered. And the ARUGULASALAD I ordered wasn’t even freaking arugula!!! What the hell guys! I order online to avoid miscommunications over the phone, it’s literally written down for you, how do you screw that up!!! Worst part is this is the second time they have managed to royally destroy my delivery order. NEVERAGAIN! STAYAWAY!

I like the crunchy crust and their sauce and toppings approach is solid. What would knock these guys out of the ballpark and build a serious reputation is if they could work on the flavor of the crust. It’s ok with salty toppings but with mushrooms, the bland crust is more noticeable. Add some seasoning or work some olive oil into it and you’ll have a winner.

Hamburger was over cooked, not enough pizza sauce was put on the burger. Very very Hot wings were dipped into hot sauce, the sauce not baked into the wings. Service is slow. With so many Italian/pizza restaurants in this neighborhood why would anybody bother with this outdated spot?

How many times does a restaurant have to F up my takeout order before I smarten up and stop ordering from there? Apparently«no onions and dressing on the side» means«no dressing and extra onions». Seriously they are 3 for 3 in screwing up my takeout order. Two times with the same salad. I’m not the type to call a busy restaurant and b*tch out the person who takes orders but seriously? Find a new job that you don’t suck at. Anyone who gives this place five stars is out of their mind.

Their PIZZA is by far sensationally the best in the entire Fairfax area… with a full menu that will entice your taste buds to try… I know because I ‘m a pizza connoisseur for over 50yrs.

John’s Best has always had the best italian pizza in Norwalk and now they deliver! Small, cute restaurant with about 5 or 6 tables and large menu. Went in with large party, the food was very good and service was attentive.

Stopped in for a few slices of pizza with my young daughters today, really on a whim as we were running errands hungry and know very little about Norwalk. I’ve been to countless strip mall pizzerias and this could be the cleanest ever. Staff was friendly, especially the younger waiter. The food: we only had pizza but I can’t get over how good it was. They do a thicker crust, not too soft not too crispy, lots of cheese that seemed like good quality… fresh tomato sauce. We really liked it. I’m from the Jersey Shore and am picky about my pizza. This was great, and their style of pizza is unique. Didn’t taste like anything was being dumped out of a can here. Value: my total was a lot less than I would’ve expected for the large sizes of the slices. Only one con: unless you drink soda there aren’t many beverage choices. My kids don’t drink soda and can’t have iced tea(caffeine) so water was the only option. Usually when we go for pizza they look forward to lemonade or Apple juice as a treat. Also, no highchairs in sight, but I also didn’t ask, I just cornered my toddler in a booth. Whatever they had playing on the TV was a little odd, soap opera or something similar maybe not totally appropriate for kids. I’m giving 4 stars but it’s a solid 4.5…other than the poor beverage selection I think they care about what they’re doing here, it shows.

Johns Best Jr provides quality Italian food to the US-1/East Norwalk area. I prefer it to nearby Jordan’s, Marinellos and JBs. The interior of the restaurant is nice and modern, nicer even than the Johns Best seniors. They have a full Italian menu. They have been working hard to promote themselves on social media and through specials. I expect to become a regular for taking out. A little on the pricey side given the restaurant is small, but the food is superior to Italian food from an average pizza place. This place just won the Norwalk Hour contest for best pizza in the area– surprising for a new place but well-deserved.
