I came up to Norwalk to pick up my little brother and was craving something sweet. I stumbled across this place on Unilocal.The location and exterior is a bit intimidating, but I’m so glad I came in. The owner’s son was such a delight. He was so attentive and has an incredible personality and a voice fit for voice work. I purchased a cinnamon apple muffin and it was so delicious and had actual pieces of apple inside. I would gladly come back to this establishment!

I love homestyle donuts … I’m not a big donut fan as i use yo be b3cause i have been so disappointed. This donut shop is by home and on my way to my kids drop off, they love donuts so i stopped on e friday as a treat for them i just grabbed a coffee. The women working are so cute and sweet, always hustling and working hard! The coffee was AMAZING im a coffee addict no need for creamer or sugar mmmm then i just tried one of my daughters donut holes and i knew these were some bomb old school donuts (as they shld be) fluffy soft not doughy and hard or extra greasy. Give them a try. Ooh and they are a very lucky shop if you are into scratchers. Out of curiosity i bought one and wone 10 $ pretty coool.

Best breakfast sandwiches ever!!! This donut shop is open 24hrs, so you can get your fix 24÷7÷365!!!
Huge variety of the classics and everyone is going crazy over blueberry donut with a glaze. Huge muffins, cookies and bagels too.
Wide variety of canned, bottled and (some) fountain drinks. They also have ice cream and can make banana splits and sundaes.
Plus, for your gambling fix, scratchers and lottery tickets are available. Someone won $ 100 with a scratcher while we were there.
My parents live in San Diego and always want to go here when they visit and even my son LOVES the breakfast croissant sandwich (egg, cheese and ham… lightly warmed); melty goodness!!!

When I come here I feel like I’m with family. Super awesome customer service, delicious donuts, tasty ice cream, tasty coffee and TONS of other stuff, too. Even the regulars here are friendly and all that adds up to the feeling that I sometimes have that this place could be the inspiration for a cool sitcom.

First time/​last time here. I went with my girlfriend about an hour ago for some ice cream and the place looked closed from the outside because of the steel gates in front of the donut cases. The employee inside waved us in so we looked around at the menu to make a decision. He then started rushing us even though we were the only 2 people in the place. Then when we chose our ice cream I pulled out my card to pay and he told me, «Cash only.» I pointed out the Visa sign and again he said, «Cash only.» Then I asked wheres the ATM, since there’s a sign for that too. And all I got was «It’s broken, come back when you got cash.» Next time when its late, i’ll just go to Rite Aid for some Thriftys ice cream.

This place is really neat! Found it by accident and I’m so glad I did. Their banana splits are excellent, the customer service was very polite and joyful. I definitely recommend this place to all ice cream and donut lovers!!!

Best doughnuts in Norwalk or anywhere in that area. My cousin has brought me back doughnuts from «The Doughnut Man» in some other city cause he says they are the best. After having those and these I can honestly say that Home Style Doughnuts are the best. Always fresh and good. Customer service is excellent, they take cash or debit and even have an atm inside. Highly recommend! Old Fashion Chocolates and mini apple fritters are our favorites! And they have the best tiger tails too!

Horrible customer service! First time going to this place and I went with a friend around 1130pm for ice cream. There were like 3 ppl in there already ordering. The whole counter is locked behind one of those steel gates and I’m guessing it was because it was late at night. My friend orders a banana split which looked great and me a cup with two scoops. She goes to pay for it with her card and he just looks at her and says cash only. Where were the signs?! She points out that there is a visa logo on the register and he says «not at night» and throws the ice cream back in the freezer. The best part is that the ATM machine is behind the chained gate with him –_​-​. So we leave to get money. Come back and he gives us the same ice cream and didn’t even offer to make us new ones. So she pays with cash and he hands us the ice cream through the gate which knocks the banana split all over the counter and floor. He looks at my friend and rolls his eyes and says «Give me $ 3 and I’ll make you a new one» we just walked out after that. I will never return here!

I pass by this donut shop everyday coming home from work. I honestly thought it was a little run down donut hole. I noticed positive reviews on Unilocal and a A grade posted in the window so decided to give it a try. I was pretty impressed at the variety that was displayed and tried a few different things. Everything my family and I tried was delicious! I would also like to mention the the guy who helped me was awesome. Super friendly and super patient (I was a bit slow any making some choices) he also threw in a couple donuts just to be nice! What a great first time experience! I will definitely return… Maybe I’ll try the ice cream next time!

Best doughnuts in town! Really really love coming here especially when they fully stock up on all fresh doughnuts! My personal faves are the maple bars! And the breakfast croissants are to die for and really big! Filling croissants… like I said best spot In town… if u still don’t take my word for it, then please take a visit and see for yourself!

I was looking for a place for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised they have different kinds of breakfast sandwiches: ham, egg and cheese in bagel, croissant and toast. They will warm it up for you if you ask. Probably not any healthier than donuts. But It sure was tasty!

I love this place! The donuts are fresh and very tasty! They also have a great selection of donuts and drinks to choose from as well as breakfast sandwiches.

We were driving back from the Hollywood strip at 2am and low and behold I saw a Donut sign that said open! Went in and saw a good variety of donuts. I bought powdered, choc, kruller and two big hot glazed. Soo good. Even a few days later, they tasted good! I dont live in the state bit will be back if Im in the area.

Great place and awesome service. Very friendly staff and good prices as well. Make sure you get some thrifty ice cream when you come in, puts all other ice cream to shame!

This place is pretty cool. The donuts taste good and the ice cream is really yummy. It got pretty busy pretty fast too. You can tell that the owners are very loved by their customers because they’d all come in and have conversations with them. He even helped me pick out a donut. They have lottery tickets, calling cards, iced coffee, iced tea, and so on.

Great place, great prices and great food. What more do you need? The staff is awesome, very nice people. Oh, and Thrifty ice cream!

Stopped in with my brother one day on a whim because we were craving donuts and found our new snack home! Great customer service, and as strange as it sounds these guys have mastered the doughnut. They have a glaze twist that is mixed with cinnamon and chocolate that I highly recommend. Go in and ask for «The Breakfast of Champions»
