Dr. Naomi Hersh DDS

Why shouldn’t going to the dentist be fun? Dr. Hersh was my dentist for over 25 years and always provided me with the best of dental care, and also made it a fun, enjoyable experience. About 10 years ago I moved 100 miles away from Norwalk, but I kept going down to see Dr. Hersh twice a year because I just couldn’t bear the thought of seeing anyone else. But I’m not getting any younger, and today I made the difficult decision that I really need a local dentist. I called Dr. Hersh to let her know and she couldn’t have been more gracious and supportive of my decision.
In short, I couldn’t recommend a dentist more highly. You’re in good hands with Dr. Hersh! And you’ll probably enjoy a few laughs while you’re at it.

Dr. Hersh is a TOP NOTCH dentist. She’s knowledgable, friendly, and extremely thorough. For over a year i had a terrible toothache on the upper left part of my mouth. My old dentist in Florida said I would need a root canal most likely to solve the issue. When I moved up here and saw Dr. Hersh for the first time, she immediately diagnosed it as grinding issues while I was sleeping. Did a minor procedure and the pain has since gone away. She also found a curved root in my X-​ray and accurately predicted I was sick when I was around 2 which stunned the growth of that root. I was blown away by her knowledge! She also has the best toy chest for kids and adults if you have no cavities! Great person, great dentist. Wouldn’t go to anyone else!

Dr. Hersh has been my dentist since I was very, very young — she is still my dentist, which after more than 25 years, says something. I would never consider going to anyone else. My entire family are patients, and we trust her completely when it comes to our dental care. Not sure what the reviewer from 12÷5÷2012 is talking about, since Dr. Hersh is exceptionally honest and professional.

Dr. Hersh is the only dentist my wife and I have used since moving to Norwalk. At times I did not have insurance I found her prices to be very reasonable, and when I have had insurance there has never been a problem.
More importantly Dr. Hersh is very understanding on both clinical and financial matters, and explains whatever needs to be done to my satisfaction. Unlike experiences at other dentists, she only recommends the work that is needed. For routine work like cleanings I feel she is very selective about who she employs and I actually look forward to my visits. For someone who grew up hating my childhood dentist this is really a big deal. I highly recommend her and her team.

Watch out for Dr Hersch — she has a history of telling people that their insurance will cover costs and then she charges you full price… then she sends to a collection agency and charges another $ 200.
I checked it out on the BBB and apparently I’m not the first. «Misleading» is a recurring theme.
She seems to be a good dentist — why is she so deceptive?
