If you go in the evening the food taste old they don’t make anything fresh. The taquitos are joke and taste like flavorless.

With 7 restaurant locations and several factories from 2 tortilla plants, and a tamale processing plant to all kinds of other Mexican baked good this is the most authentic food I think you can get in a restaurant. We each had a Wet shrimp Burrito with a Choice of fish or shrimp, with rice/beans, covered in red/green sauce. The burritos are huge and we finished them. .. .right into a food coma. Chips and salsa was good wish the salsa was not in the tiny little plastic cups but it is what it is. Still was good salsa. this location is kind of a Denny style layout this location is in a rough area watched a couple of drug deals go down outside and had a couple of peeps eyeballin my car. Glad it was daytime lol This place has amazing burritos!

I hate this place. Depressing, dirty atmosphere, and deceitful staff. So why 3-Stars? The food is very good! This keeps me coming back, but I regret it in the end, and enough so much this time that I had share with you with this review. Take it for what you will.

I have bought my tortillas time and time again from. Here since I have been 2000, pretty much when I came to America. Their quality has not changed in this time, and I’m super happy with these tortillas both white and wheat. They are only a couple of dollars for a bag of 30 tortillas. There are several other baked goods here, but I haven’t ventured past the tortillas. I’m sure that anything made here is fresh and natural. Good place to go! Has earned my dinners for 15 years and will continue to do so!

Honestly, I don’t even really like Mexican food that much. This place has amazing burritos! Especially the green, wet ones! Everything I have is really good and of course the tortillas are to die for! Everybody’s always really nice, and speaks enough English where I don’t feel the need to embarrass myself with my terrible Spanish.

Everything is expensive I spent $ 30 on a burrito asada fries and half a dozen tamales and everything tasted horrible the carne asada was dry and extremely salty to the point we had to throw away our food disgusting

Keep in mind this is a counter cashier operation. Lg. Coke= $ 2.65 pls tax– I’m sorry whaat?! How do you say«Gouge for a $ 0.20 product cost in Spanish?» Chile Relleno rice & beans combo plate=$ 9.95 — um, are u kidding? So I went for a Chile Relleno Burrito $ 6.65– thinking, «give it a chance, maybe they’re charging for authentic and home made.?» Bad bet. The burrito was not good– threw most of it away(I don’t think I’ve ever met a burrito I didn’t love LOL– I mean, the bar is not a high one). Totally bland(despite dousing it with two of their ‘hot sauce’ pico de gallos– which were just as tasteless and NO heat) and the rice tasted like heavy flour. For these prices, the tortillas should be fresh and homemade same-day(ala La Barca de Jalisco). What a disappointment.

Not good at all! The asada taco had more fat than anything. I’ve never had a taco with lettuce and meat only. The tortillas are good. It’s a shame they ruined them with the gross meat. The beans and rice were way too salty

The food isn’t that bad. Everything seems pretty fresh and it is quick to come out. They have a great selection of tortilla products to purchase that are of food quality.

~Vegetarian Burrito Warning~ Okay, so my girlfriend ordered a vegetarian burrito(which was $ 6.00) while I ordered a quesadilla deluxe. What she literally got was iceberg lettuce wrapped in a flour tortilla. @_@ My overall opinion of Diana’s Mexican Food isn’t negative, yes, there’s better food out there, but they stay open damn late. So that’s a plus, also they have a huge menu. But damn, this vegetarian burrito shouldn’t exist lol.

The best Mexican restaurant I have been, not only the great variety of food in their menu, but the taste is off the chart … Best wet burrito and the best albondiga soup is here, prices are really reasonable, only problem is they close early so check their hours of operation first before u go there … Fully recommended to try it out

Dianas is hands down the best place to get fish tacos. I swear I haven’t tasted any better fish tacos than here! The sauce, cook of fish, and coleslaw blends very well together. I’d say it’s the sauce, since sauce does make the fish taco. I did try their other items(Carne Asada burrito) which was okay. They have tons of food options, but I don’t think I would come there for any thing else other than their fish tacos.

My first time here! And this review is just for the sweet bread and champurrado. Champurrado was delicious. It did not disappoint :) However I deducted half a star because the lady working looked absolutely miserable and couldn’t even be friendly with us. At all. The other half I took off was because I bought the pan de queso(cheese filled sweet bread) and there were only like 2 bites of cheese… the rest was plain bread. I’ll most likely be back for the champurrado and the Mexican food that I didn’t try this time.

This restaurant has lost a few loyal customers after 20 years, from Hunting Park to Norwalk. Found ourselves completely ignored by the cashier who was not only taking orders incorrectly, not apologizing for her mistakes, not refunding them the difference to walking away after she had asked to take our order. She didn’t excuse herself or apologize for walking away not once but twice!!! As we turned around to walk out so did 2 other people who made comments, out in the parking lot on how rude she’d been and how bad service had become. Not worth their outrages prices. Next time Los Compadres or La Capilla for sure=|

Been coming here for years… the food is better than average and reasonable prices to be had. You just have to know what to order here… stick with the enchiladas or chicken mole burritos. For breakfast, the bacon and spinich omelette with hash browns is my «go to».

I’ve been a regular at Diana’s since I was a kid growing up in Carson, California. Now we live in Norwalk and they have a pretty big Diana’s right down the street… talk about lucky! Food is genuine Mexican fare. You walk up to a counter, order, pay, and sit down.(Or wait and take your food home if you prefer) If you stay and eat in their very casual dining room, they will bring the food out to you. No tip jars are anywhere in sight and they do not solicit tips. I think it’s very nice of them to personally bring out your food. They really don’t have to, they could call you up to the counter like a ton of other places. The chicken mole wet burrito is delicious! Savory and sort of sweet, with a pretty good hit of smoky heat right at the end. You won’t be sorry… also portions are pretty huge, even by mexican food standards. They don’t skimp. You can share a meal with a friend and both leave VERY full. If you like Mexican sweetbreads they have them, in sort of a self-serve type of set up. You just grab a tray and some tongs and pick out what you want, then go to the front and they tally it up for you. Need some milk or ketchup? They have it there, you can buy it in their tiny market type corner of the restaurant. Very convenient if you ask me. Some reviews I read talked about not giving them 5 stars because the area wasn’t great, or the dining room wasn’t fancy. I think that’s terrible. If a place has great food at a nice price and is clean(not fancy) why can’t they get 5 stars? I say, give it to them. Sure the area is definitely a bit sketchy but you aren’t buying a house here. Just a meal. Enjoy the meal, be happy with the price and the cleanliness of the dining room(even if it is just a basic dining room with no frills) and leave it at that. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Those reviewers who mentioned that the staff are hard to understand must be hearing impaired. Sure they speak with an accent but this is California. We should not have a problem with that at this point. Come on people, give credit where it’s due. Try this location, you won’t be sorry!

Diana’s has been around for as long as I can remember. My favorite item on their very extensive menu has always been the wet burrito, in green sauce. I have fond memories of being a child and enjoying this massive burrito, all of these years later nothing has changed, it’s just as delicious! On the menu you will find a myriad of different types of authentic Mexican foods. All are delicious and I’m certain better than the average Mexican food establishment. What you won’t find at Diana’s is pretentious service or surroundings. That said, all of their establishments are very extremely casual dining so don’t expect more than that. Lastly I would like to add that Diana’s is a value. Most of their dishes are very reasonably priced and the portions are all good sizes, usually enough to share between two people. The green wet burrito is a good example of a meal that can be shared between two people. So why just three stars? I like to think that I’m very fair and reserve four or five stars for restaurants that I feel the majority of Unilocalers would enjoy. Some people might be put off by the location of these restaurants and for that reason might not venture there. But if you are not put off by things like location and willing to venture off the beaten path… Diana’s is a fantastic place that I would recommend all try

Loses one star just because the service leaves a lot to be desired. The fresh made tortillas are awesome but my favorite dish here is the Albondigas soup. I swear I’ve tried a LOT of albondigas but these are seasoned so well I can honestly say they’re the best I’ve ever had.
