I can’t give it 5 stars because I share my own horrible experience with others about purchasing a cake here. I ordered a cake for a little childs birthday party. I ordered a cake a couple days before the weekend when I needed the cake. I even prepaid it. On the day I requested the cake and time too I went into the bakery. I got there and right away I was helped. The only problem was my cake was nowhere to be found. The older gentleman behind the counter helping me told me that my cake was never made and that there wasnt anything he could do. He informed me that the baker was only reliable at getting drunk. I then sadly had to ask for my money back which was right away given to me. Then all of sudden a man showed up on a bike covered in sweat. The older gentleman helping me right away asked him about my cake and it was then I knew he was the baker. He right away apologized to me as he wiped the sweat from his forhead with his hands. He told me he could prepare me another cake that he had already made(I don’t think so). I declined his offer and walked away with my money and stress of finding a replacement cake. I’m all about giving the mom and pop shops my business but please read others post about their cake experiences. The problem doesn’t seem to be with there pan dulce(sweet bread).

Tamales are yummy here! I don’t eat pan dulce so I can’t rate it. Smells good though and looks fresh.

ZERO stars! Bought a cake this morning for my families Father’s Day lunch and the cake was rotten. It was sop poised to be a vanilla bread cake and it tasted like a rotten tres leches cake! This is what you get when you shop here. To top of the bad service when I went back to let the bakery know the lady working there around noon didn’t even apologize or offer any solution, she just took the cake that smelled like rotten eggs, trashed it and gave me a refund. No apology no nothing instead she grinned and said have a grate day. If you enjoy this type of treatment then this is the plan for you. Happy Fathers Day!

This place is awesome. The pan dulce(sweet bread) is soft not too sweet and melts in your mouth. The conchas come in small, medium and large. The small ones are good for parties. Again, they taste so good. You can always ask them for special requests in advance. The tamales are moist and they don’t have an oily residue. The bread and tamales are a good representative of Latino America.

Pan dulce is pretty good. They sell chicken, beef and cheese tamales all year round. I was browsing the cake catalog and saw some cute wedding cakes. I was quoted a fair price, but was informed they do not deliver, that ruled them out for my wedding cake. My coworker told me she ordered. a past from. them a few. months ago. and it was very dry.

The bakery is not fancy nor trendy, it looks more industrial. The staff are friendly and nice, but doesn’t speak English, so I’m forced to use the little Spanish i know. Due to language barrier and my limited Spanish, they had me write up my own order. Choose the flavor of the cake and wrote the inscription for the birthday cake., Paid the cake in full. Oddly enough 3DAYS later, I got a phone call from a lady from that bakery who Speaks English well, letting me know that the lady that took my order quoted me a wrong price. So the cake that i paid in full was for a smaller cake, and need to pay extra for the size i originally ordered. I didn’t want to pay extra and just settled for a smaller cake, which was a good thing because the cake that we got was dry and tooo sweet. There were a lot of left over, and lots of unfinished eaten cakes. not a good sign. Anyway, they do have fresh baked breads and cookies and reasonable price. I will back for breads but never for cakes

This place deserves the 5 stars I gave it. On point when it comes to the freshness of their baked breads and the variety. Always seem to have fresh, warm, baked goods that you can pick from as they come straight out the oven. Everything is priced, which makes it easy to keep tabs on your purchase. The bakery is always clean inside and the young girl that manages the store always has a smile on her face and is very helpful if you have any questions about any of the breads. I have gone to several other Mexican bakeries or panaderias and have yet to find the selection and the freshness that you get here. The sweet breads are very fresh, almost slightly moist as opposed to being very dry. They really are delicious, try them and see.

Decent place. Open later than most panaderias. It’s in Norwalk not El Segundo.

I don’t know why it’s showing the wrong address on the map. It’s located in Norwalk, not in El Segundo. Not much to say, they have fantastic Mexican bread and they’re always nice to me and my family. Not too expensive, and their pastries are pretty damn good compared to other places. I think they also sell cakes and other things but I only come for their bread.
