Each day, usually sometime between 4 and 7:30 pm, cable drops out or dumbs down the signal on several channels in the 738 area line up. No signal, or it flips from 480 to 720, while channel 38, non-HD is being shown supposedly in 1080, buts its 720 and boxed. I’ve phoned about this service disruption practice for years. They always deny there is any throttling, and suggest the usual unplug, plug, reset nonsense. I don’t know why they do it, but right as rain for prime time they re-adjust the thru put. Meanwhile, whatever you DVR’d on or near 738 is blank or pixelated. I know this is technical, but think of it as buying a BMW that turns into a very entry level car every day between 4 and 7:30 pm. You bought the BMW, it just morphs into something much slower and less useful each day. The issue seems to have compounded itself after I posted this review. Channel 724 and 738 are now never available although part of the package we pay for.
