Came to hang out with the girls. Great place to listen to good jams in a peaceful environment with positive vibes and definitely Bomb micheladas made by Dianea and the BEST CARNE ASADA FRIES!!! These were so good great quality meat everything flavored just right not too salty just a party in your mouth LOL! will definitely keep coming back

This place is totally chill, drinks were good. Didn’t try any food. Variety of Music playing, everything I liked. I briefly met the owner sweet old man, he was very friendly. I’ll come back again if I’m in the area.

Classic Dive Bar. Beer is cold and cheap. I would recommend keeping it simple as far as your food order goes. I had a variety of apps and my favorite was the simple order of fries. Jukebox is loud and the place is darly lit. Wait staff was on top of their game. ‘B’ sanitation grade made me wonder, but its really not a dinner spot.

I would put their food up against any Mexican restaurant. From their fresh chips and outstanding homemade salsa to their kickass tacos, the quality is great. The service (Diane) was perfect. Opens at 11:30am during the week. The drinks are great. $ 6 Bacardi & coke

First time ever at this bar. We had a great time. the reviews given were not so great. but glad we went.
Staff was friendly. DJ played great had alot of people dancing. security was friendly and smiled. People there were friendly as well.
We had a blast all and all! We will be back again.

Great bar … Can’t complain about anything, service is off the hook every time I come here, papa javi one of the co owners always greet you so well that you feel like you belong there … Bartenders always smiling and fast on service … Food is great too …

Came here because we wanted to check out a Bar Rescue bar. Nice place. Certainly aestheticly appealing on the inside. Very small. Mostly clean. The staff is very friendly. The food was good. We had the wings and loaded fries. Both were above average. Nice place, definitely worth checking out, but certainly not impressive.
Edit: The above was out visit between 7:30pm and 9:00pm on Friday night, and was 4 stars. At 9:00pm the DJ came in, turned off the baseball game and started playing music at deafening levels. I guess he wanted to make sure all 7 customers in the very small place could hear it. It’s a very snall place with zero room to dance. Why you would eliminate your guest’s ability to have a conversation is beyond me. We left at 9:30 with a headache.

We came in because of Bar Rescue. They’ve kept the name and the décor as well as what looks to be most if not all of the menu. They were out of potato skins, but the loaded fries were great.
Having said that, the bar was weirdly empty. There were a dozen cards outside, but there were only 4 patrons inside. They are definitely all regulars. One of whom was powering down a pitcher of beer by himself.
They seem to have reverted to a sports theme, but only in tv programming. All 13 TVs were on different games. Mostly baseball but some football.
Daniel was a good bartender/​server and made sure we felt well taken care of.

Awesome place to hang out. Came here for the first time after dinner with fam just becuase hubby and I were not ready to end the night. Super chill, good music, and Yum micheladas!!!

The food:
**“tres tacos” with shrimp: good, I would’ve liked some spicy salsa on the side but maybe that’s just my taste
**“buffalo wings” they were really good. It had a chipotle taste to the sauce and they were tender, not overcooked.
The drinks:
**“mangria”: really good. it’s a sangria that had more of a wine taste than fruity
**“chepa margarita”: spicy! I presonally don’t like spice in my drinks so this was not good for me.
**“lick my chile” shooter: YUM!!! OMG! This was my all time FAVORITE drink. It reminded me of a lemon with a saladito! Took me back to my childhood. I could’ve had 5 of these!
Ambiance: There was a fancy jukebox and a later on into the night there was a DJ. I’d say he was there maybe at 9? He played old white ppl music. I looked around and I didn’t see that kinda crowd. I noticed he changed it up to old 80s 90s rap which seemed more appropriate for the crowd. Some 90s Pop too.
All in all, I REALLY liked the LICK MY CHILE shooter. Makes my mouth water just remembering it!

I came here with my boyfriend thinking this will be a cool spot because of bar rescue but it was a total bust. Drinks are nasty and it took too long to arrive. Food was not seasoned properly.
Their was a drunk guy being rude and no one done anything.
I will not be coming here ever again.

I went to this bar thinking it was going to be a cool spot due to their recent visit by Bar Rescue! Total bust!!!
Security guards are rude and are close to physical with their demands.
The older bar back gave us weird stares. There was an awkward uncomfortable vibe, almost seemed like, if a fight would break out!
Giving them a two because the bartender was prompt and nice. Otherwise it would be a 1 star!
Clientele would increase if the bars first point of contact (security guards) had some customer service training.

Been a regular until now… I came with a friend tonight and the guard at the door told my friend that BY LAW he needed to have a California ID, my friend told him he has been there a few times and was never told that before. The guard told him he has never seen him there AND WHATEVER HE SAYS GOES.
I am a local guy and always up for supporting local businesses but I have never had anything like this happen to anybody around me. I felt uncomfortable and bad for my friend. and this is unethical. I have overlooked the bad service and the loooonnngg time to get a drink BUT WONT EVER COME BACK. I thought the show from BAR RESCUE would make them realize a few mistakes they were making but. cant fix what always been broken. Dont waste your time here
