Bog Iron Brewing

I had not been in since they moved to the bigger tap room. Place was jammed but I received quick friendly service. Beer selection has certainly improved, and each of the four samples was great, none better than the Swiss Mistress! I will be back real soon

I have been to Bog Iron Brewing twice and I have been impressed both times I’ve gone. The place is always packed, everyone is always so friendly and the beer selection (and value) is amazing. I wish that they were open more/​longer hours so I could come check them out other times. This is a great, adorable brewery that is perfect for hanging out with friends or your significant other on a Saturday afternoon and having a flight (and chex mix!).

We love place, the people & the beer. The only drawback is very limited hours and they won’t buy back growlers.

Tiny adorable brewery. Open two days a week and likely to run out of a delicious brew. They always have two solid IPAs plus enough variety for people who like light and dark. Friendly staff but not enough seating. It gets very crowded on their week night but it’s worth it!

OUTSTANDING beers. Unique flavors. Not just another IPA. What other little brewery have you ever seen a Dunkelweizen at? The guys are exceptionally nice and always willing to chat about their journey (when they’re not slammed with customer!). Anyone in the area should be the trip!

Never before have I met 3 guys so passionate about craft beer — and once you sample any of their brews, you’ll taste that passion, talent, and dedication to the craft. The tap room is warm and inviting, and I love the fact that there aren’t TVs all over the place. People go to Bog Iron not only for the great beer, but for the conversation — and it’s always flowing as much as the beer is.

This place is phenomenal. The fact that it was packed at 7 PM on a Wednesday night is a testament to the solid brews that this place is churning out. Reasonably priced, especially when you consider the quality of what they’re pouring. I highly recommend the Burly Blonde (a session beer for alcoholics), as well as the Stinger/​Middle Child IPAs — everything I tried (all 6 beers that were on tap) were very well balanced.
The place was a little cramped, but the gentlemen working the taps never left you waiting for a pint, even though they were more than happy to «talk shop».
Interesting mix of 30+ beer geeks, and college students from nearby Wheaton.
I think this place is going to become my new Wednesday night tradition! If you can’t get in on a Wed/​Sat, their website has a map detailing local restaurants that serve their beer.

Really nice guys pouring… atmosphere improving every week… always people enjoying this local unique experience… my sons favorite is the IPA… my husband and myself lived the coffee stout delicious… keep up the great job

Not a bad among the bunch. Theses guys know what they are doing. They have a great set up and will soon have a expended tasting room next time I’m in town and every time I will stopping.

For a tiny place that can only brew a few barrels at a time, they have a great selection (something like 9 beers on tap) and were absolutely hoping. Everyone who came in was offered the full round of samples, the brewers chatted with everyone about beer and life, and gave everyone a sample of a newly finished batch just because we were there.
Nice place, nice guys, nice beer.
