Just brought a tire for repair — had 4 tires replaced a year ago and got a puncture in one. the tech says the hole is too big to plug (he couldn’t even find the hole on the inside) AND that I have gone over 36 000 miles (!) In a year, with no major trips.
TRANSLATION: i got hosed into buying a new tire. $ 175.
LESSON: Read the paperwork carefully and check that the mileage they write down is correct !!!
Don’t get hosed!
